NLPRacing Posted June 19, 2006 Share Posted June 19, 2006 With the rumors of the F150 getting a 4.4 diesel V8 later this decade, what are the chance of the Sport Trac getting a similar diesel? It could either be the 3.6 V8 or maybe even a 3.3 V6 based of the 4.4 V8. I could replace both my F150 and Festiva and not lose a thing. I would still have a bed and plenty of towing capability and have the economy (maybe up to 30 mpg). Since the cancelled my SVT Sport Trac, maybe I'll hold my breath for a diesel Sport Trac...
