Why do I think he won't? Easy, look at the last election. The guy the left wing media tried portraying as the greatest thing since sliced bread, had his ass handed it to him by the electorate the first chance they had.

 

If he wins in 2012, it will be because he changed his tune, and the direction he wanted to take the country. The guy who ran in 2008, will not be running in 2012. If he does, he will lose easily.

How the extension of "Bush" tax cuts is labeled a victory for OBAMA and friends shows how some people really think or lack of it.

 

I read an editorial in the National Post that said just that. I nearly fell out of my chair in disbelief.

 

Basically, if the cuts work, Obama can take credit for them, and ride that into a second term. If they don't, he can blame the Republicans, and ride that into a second term.

Stealing from future generations to spread money around is not some great "proactive" stroke of genius. Let me know when he figures out how to run the country with the resources that are available now. As far as Social Security, our present and past leaders have blown the surplus to hide even more of the debt mess they have created for our grandkids. So the solution is to underfund it so there will be more money for us to spend now?
