At my location we (the entire union committee/members) ensure understandings of the contract and actions of the processes. Smoke screen??? This is the arbitration process. It takes time. The grievance procedure is outlined in our agreement including the arbitration process. Once the lawyers on both sides present all data and all interviews are done then the 120 day period starts. This is our process. The arbitrator will make a final binding decision. Nothing new here as stated above. Umpire decisions define our contract. Nothing is any different now as in the past 50+ years with the arbitration process

Your facts are skewed and twisted. Ford Motor Company's way forward plan had 80% of production moving to Mexico in a five year timeline. The Union negotiated on our behalf a concessionary 2007 agreement for our job security and keeping jobs in the USA !!!! The UAW was successful in gaining huge investments in our 2011 agreement creating thousands of jobs and even returning work and product back into our plants from mexico and asia There, now you learned facts

The case is still in the arbitration examination cross examination of witnesses. The arbitrator is an administrative law judge and will render a decision once the he decides the all evidence has been presented. Company nor union can taint the arbitration process. Your "product investment" and "additional shifts" are good problems to have. Just remember your job is more secure than the remaining 40,000 of us so your complains of job security dont go far. Once the republicans destroy the unions there will be nothing stopping the Republican/Corporate agenda. Labor relations informed our committee that the c crew and our transfers were only delayed 3-4 weeks.

Fact of the matter is one more cycle of Republican rule our unions will be destroyed and we will have no voice, no seniority, $9.00 pay with no contract, no vacation, no personal,,,,,,,,,,,,,, NOTHING !!!
