Looking at a Lincoln sticker the only place where it looks like there is a date is in the box at the bottom next to the "Final Assembly Point" box. It appears on the Ford stickers that if that date was last year the truck wasn't built for about 1.5 months. If that date was in 2011 the truck had a build date within a week. When they figure the specific order that vehicles will be built. This depends on options and line constraints. Showed out of production on 3/30/2011, went ahead and did the deal with dealer to get some month end programs and ETA was yesterday, but not sure how long it will actually take to get here. You can post your info in the "Vehicle Locator" forum, (under Ford Employee's Forum), and get updates on your truck if you're curious. I don't know if he's just not checking or if the build is being delayed because of all the supply issues right now or what! All I do know is that I really want my truck!! It seems that most people receive their vin about 20 days after they order. I am getting pretty anxious to get some info. It will be my first new truck. Window sticker just showed up yesterday. Build date of 5/13. ETA of 5/16? Supercrew, ecoboost, 3.55 ls, trailer tow, backup camera, sterling gray, no chrome package for me.
