theoldwizard
The 777 was an experimental engine that was built by Ford/Roush off of the new 6.2L block. The goal was 7.0L, 700 hp and 700 ft-lb of torque. It made several trips to the local drag strip. This one looks "used" (dyno ?) Well, one of the few that were built, is resting comfortably in the lobby of the Ford Powertrain Engineering building (a.k.a. Building 2) in Dearborn, about 50 ft beyond the glass windows and doors that says "No photographic equipment allowed". The lobby is open to the public if you want to get up close and personal with the 777 and about 10 other engines.
