I received my call to transfer, start date 9/12/11 out of state. That gives me 2 weeks to find a place,pack and move. HR told me that I may not get my moving allowance in time. I have been laid for almost a year, I'm on tap and unemployment. I'm concerned because being laid off, I will need that money for moving. I also will still have expenses in Michigan too. The next check doesnt even get submitted for processing till you physically start work at the new plant. Then it will most likely take another few weeks to get it. I transferred to LAP. But cannot get my second check till I start work. Since I was transferred here then laid off ~ I wont get it till maybe December/January. Supposedly LAP will start Dec. 19....
