How about the ford workers who are on long term lay-off they get nothing,and a 3 week temp.gets $5000.,this is bullshit!

their will be no strike,this is just a uaw threat to get this passed.They will just go back to the bargaining table!

1.I want all ford employes to to get the singing bonus.Workers laid-off still pay union dues.Why give a 3 month worker $5,000 and a laid-off worker with 10 years nothing! 2.Give part of the new hirer raises to ford workers as yearly raises. 3.Zero money out of profit sharing for veba. we gave up our last raise to help fund this. Most workers are unaware that gm workers make $1.00 more an hour on base pay than ford workers do.Because we voted to give up our last raise to help the retirees health care.

ALSO WHY GIVE SOMEONE WITH 3 MONTHS THE MONEY,AND NOT A LAID OFF EMPLOYEE WITH 10 YEARS!

ilo or tlo the laid off workers at the Indy.plant,have been given return to work dates to Louisville.so will that make them be on tlo,instead of ilo..Just wondering.

how in the world could they have 1800 openings.the posting was for 1300 and i heard that they filled all of them.and might have to turn some of the ford workers away,because they got to many signups?

i am laid off from the Indy.plant and don`t think i have much choice but to sign up for ky.even if i don`t want to go there. some of us in indy would like to go to Lima,they have 130 temps.there but ford will not post the jobs for some reason.

Correct me if I am wrong,I thought Rawsonville is a ach plant that is for sale or closing. I have been told in the past that you are not aloud to transfer to a ach plant. Just asking.

I agree with you that the jobs were posted,and they did not get enough people to go,but there were not any ford workers laid- off at the time of the postings.Why keep paying sub to the laid-off people when there are jobs available.Also you give false hopes to the temps.in the plants thinking that they are going to be hired.Not one temp.can be made full-time as long as their are any ford workers laid-off.

Why is the u.a.w leadership letting the company keep 130 temps.at the Lima plant.When there are ford workers laid-off at other plants,that want to go to Lima. Why would the company want to pay sub when these people want to go to work?

Rumor going around the Lima plant that company is going to bring in 30 more temps.Don`t they have to post these jobs for the ford people who are laid off?there are already 100 temps. in the plant now.
