mizzitch Posted July 29, 2006 Share Posted July 29, 2006 The auto trans gear selector lever on the console, yes not on the column like the "new" Escalade, should also have a manu-matic mode. The driver should be able to shift, by tapping the lever left and right, and the truck cannot override the gear the driver selects (over rev protection on downshifts is ok - it seems the 4R100 provides rev protection in 2nd to 1st, but not 3rd to 2nd).
