Hard Driver
This has seemed like a good idea to me for a long time. I know this was discussed in the US years ago and forgotten about because union leadership was afraid that some would loose positions. The corporations work together to screw the working class. It's time that we work together to protect one another or the "give backs" will continue. http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/10/15/canada-unions-idUSL1E8LC8SF20121015?type=companyNews&feedType=RSS&feedName=companyNews&rpc=43
trailfndr
it should have happened years ago, but in the US, I doubt that it ever will. I remember it was talked about, and the UAW was the holdout back then, as no one at Solidarity house wanted to lose power. Tats why I doubt it will happen, too many lackeys are afraid of losing the sense of power they feel they are due. They need to remember who REALLY has the power...the MEMBERSHIP. They work for US, and its way past time to teach them this valuable lesson. If we don't, then the Union will slowly die, along with all the gains made over the past 50 years.
Hard Driver
The "lackeyes" need to leave. We need leadership who works for the membership not their self gratification. The membors are not here for the union, the unoin is here for the members. http://www.bloomberg.com/video/autoworkers-earning-less-happy-to-compete-globally-Y47dMs7hQjKlJ7IztV82sQ.html?cmpid=yhoo
