Having come from a right to work state Idaho in 5 yrs there will be more people not paying dues than are, basically UAW will not amount to or be a threat to any of the big 3 auto makers and they will do what they want more so than now!!

Just come to find out that 2nd tier workers never reach full pay.This is bull$hit and next contract this tradesman will be on the line with ya.The 2nd tier pay should ramp up to full pay-----------Ford North America is where the corporation makes its $$$$$.Who negotiates this garbage?

Been in the contract for several years now, even though this is the first year that Ford really hired any 2 teir. Its not going away, no matter what we do. It saves the companies too much money. Our contract allows 20% 2nd teir, GM and Chrysler are allowed unlimited 2nd teir. You can bet that we will be allowing more after 2015, in order to be "Competitive" Walter is rolling in his grave....

Thank joel goddard from local 898 for the low tier bullshit ,hes been the lead negotiater for the last couple of shitty deals.

Nope, you can thank Gettlefinger for that one. he started it with suppliers, and continued it with the Auto companies. King SHOULD have fought to elliminate it...but he didn't have the balls to take on the company at a time when profits were up, and they NEEDED cars.
