Waiting (somewhat patiently. . .) for 2013 Fusion Hybrid

Just found this forum, and glad I did. Local dealer advertised three hybrids, so I went to take a look and found out they'd only been ordered. That's okay, they were supposed to be arriving "any day" (is that dealer-speak for "we don't know when they'll be coming in"?), so I pulled the trigger and put a deposit on one (right at a month ago). Finally discovered the ETIS.ford site and learned that my car had been built back at the end of August, but had been sitting at the Hermosillo plant. Contact the dealer every week to check status, and two weeks ago he said it had moved to Flat Rock, and apparently that's where it's been sitting. Am trying very hard to be patient, but it's tough. I'm still driving the trade-in, and I'm paranoid about getting a ding, a dent, or worse (2011 Acadia in perfect condition right now). Still, from everything I'm reading about the new Fusion, I'm happy with my decision.

Thanks all for the great site.

The Fusion is a beautiful car and the hybrid sounds fantastic. We were going to get the Fusion Hybrid, but fell in love with the C-Max Hybrid so ordered one on Oct.5th. Hopefully we will get ours in the next couple of weeks. I'm sure your FFH will well be worth the wait. Hopefully they start moving to dealers soon.

Thanks Laurel! Look forward to hearing what you think about the CMax, as it sounds like it has the same drivetrain as the FFH.

Welcome to the site and congratulations on your 13 Fusion Hybrid. There are two Fusion sites that we can also recommend: http://www.fordfusionforum.com and http://www.fordfusionhybridforum.com
