terrierl
I had the bi-directional remote start programmed on my 2013 Fusion SE. I have the Standard Message Center between the speedometer and tach. This was installed after purchase of the vehicle as an add-on and is the Ford branded system specifically for the 13 Fusion. Here is my question....Am I supposed to have options to enable the remote start system, change duration of run-time, rear defrost, quiet start, etc. by entering the menu and going to settings---->convenience---->remote start options...?? Can someone confirm if they have these options on the standard message center? Edited February 21, 2013 by terrierl

tch2ffh
My car was delivered to the dealership but I probably won't pick it up until Friday. I bought the Ford remote start, so I'll check on this for you some time after I pick it up. If you learn anything, please post it here. tch2ffh
I picked it up tonight. My menu does have a remote start section. I recall seeing a run time duration and quiet start as well as other options. I think there were a bunch of climate control options.

I'm still waiting to get my car in for service as some parts are on backorder. Do you have the standard message center or the more advanced one with the digital tachometer? I have the standard with the one digital screen in the center.

Does your car have a second Fob now that you have the remote start? Or is it built into the one remote like the Titanium models?
Barsoom
I have this on my FFH SE. It's a second fob in the manual, the one with the single button and little antenna. Yes, the menu options are in the left-side display, and you can set duration as well as climate settings, seat settings, etc.

If you get the package with MyFord Touch, I believe you have 2 digital screens (advanced message center) in the dashboard above the steering wheel. I only have the 1 digital screen (standard message center) in the dashboard above the steering wheel since I have the standard radio in the SE. I'm just not sure if the options should be listed since its the standard message center and I had the remote start unit installed after the fact.
