If the teams are handled well by the leader pretty much every one is happy. If you get a leader that will help/let management give certain people or trades more work, they normally make more money. Then when the OT kicks in its ok for some trades to get OT but other people will be forced to work with the OT guys for straight time. I'm not sure if it was ever resolved but not all trades were included in the mechanical team concept. If your not included your expected to help on the team but your not invited for the pay raise.
