If you have BLIS, do you also have the heater mirror picture or not? I also have a small (half inch?) border on my mirror - what is that? Is that what makes the mirror auto-dim? bluspikez Posted April 15, 2013 Share Posted April 15, 2013 I have BLIS, and no heated icon on the mirror itself. I know the mirrors are heated, though, since they definitely melted the ice on the mirrors that I'd occasionally get in the winter. You're right, that border (looks closer to a 1/4 inch for me) appears to be the edge of the auto-dimming region of the mirrors. jcg1005 Posted April 15, 2013 Share Posted April 15, 2013 If this helps, then great. On my 2011, I have the exact same thing. BLIS with heated mirrors. No icon for heat. I actually broke the glass only a couple weeks ago and ordered a replacement mirror insert for the driver's side. It has a two wire standard auto connector for the BLIS light, and two single wire connectors for the heating unit.
