jastratton
So the physical and drugscreen the last process? Then wait?
DearbornDerek
Yes they will be taken out the first week of every month. And yes. For me the physical and drugscreen were the last process.

Another Company bought the plant and it will be moved to Romulus.

10yrs_No_Seniority
If you're going in for orientation, you got the job. Congrats! You'll start getting paid that day, and they wouldn't put you on payroll unless everything was on the up-and-up. They're calling it a temp assignment, and it most likely is as far as that plant, but if you keep good attendance you'll probably get sent to a different plant when it's over. Good luck!
jastratton
Thanks so much for your reply. I am eager to start. What is orientation like?
10yrs_No_Seniority
It's typically 3 days. You'll be briefed on your assignment, what they do/make at the plant, sometimes, the history of the plant. You'll meet your various union reps. You'll watch videos on safety, equality, etc. (They are somewhat dated and very boring and long) Don't fall asleep! You'll get your pic taken for your ID. That's about it... Some paper work maybe.
littlecountry
I'm getting nervous Don't get nervous til they ask you to go work at an assembly plant! Parts plants are nothing compared to final assembly!
