Bearcats98
Ok, every once in a while I get a ding-ding tone after I unlock my car. It goes off in the time it takes to open the door and sit down. At that time I check for open doors, shifter in park, lights on. I cant seem to notate anything out of the ordinary. I have scoured the manual and since every warning tone sounds the same I am at a loss at what I might be getting alerted to? I have no messages anywhere on the dash.I am stumped. LOL! bluspikez
I've noticed this one too - I believe it has something to do with the key fob for intelligent access either being detected or undetected within the vehicle (not too sure which, though... ). Bearcats98
Yeah its for sure a head scratcher but if you have heard it too, at least I have some company in the padded room! :happy feet: Ill pay more attention to if I do the locks with RFID or not prior to opening the door. Ill also peruse that part of the manual a little closer
Guest RRF985
Mine does that occasionally when I open the door. It will chime twice. I've also had it chirp the horn twice while starting. Not sure why either occurs.

Not sure why either occurs. Ha, mine just did that today. Opened door and sat down and then honk honk. Didnt hit anything other than the seat. Some very strange programming at work I believe. Someone didnt check all the conditions of the subroutines off correctly. ;-)
ticholas
I have also had this happen multiple times, and one time it happened, i happened to look at the left dash display and caught the "no key detected" which was gone by the time the door was fully open. Not sure why this happens either.
ticholas
Although I've never had the car honk at me while it was not running.
