rscalzo
http://www.techtimes.com/articles/13213/20140816/ford-recalls-160-000-focus-st-and-escape-vehicles-over-faulty-wiring-issue.htm This is the eleventh recall involving Ford's Escape, one of the company's best-selling vehicles. No single model, however, has been involved in all eleven recalls. I'm really finding it hard to consider a new Escape as the replacement for my almost trouble free 2008. Ford says dealers will fix the affected vehicles for both recalls for free. Really? what a heart of gold. But they fail to consider the fact that the owner is forced to take their time to get the appointment and sit there while the work is done. all that while attmepts by the service department are made to hussle the customer in more work at their expenses. Transpower
Yes, I have a mostly trouble-free 2008 Mercury Mariner Hybrid AWD. I certainly wouldn't trade it for a new Escape!
