jtaz2 Posted February 11, 2006 Share Posted February 11, 2006 (edited) Yup, I called Pioneer yesterday, they said that this works with any Nav system they build because of the IP system BUS. They told me that the HU in my Ex is newer and would not work with this generic IP-Bus based external tuner. The HU in the Pioneer unit in the Ex is a CAN-Bus stereo—two totally different technologies. I'll try Royal Radio and Dom Fucile this week. Obviously it can be done but I just keep getting mental midgets trying to help me and I end up nowhere. I'd like to know where they put it. Thanks Its a little snowy here today, so I will just describe it. It is on the roof just a few inches from the back, centered left to right. It is not very high, it is really not noticeable, the roof rails really dwarf it. I have been throgh a car wash (touchless) a few times and have not had any problems.
