Macmac350
I think the 2018 Expedition is having problems and that date has been pushed back.
Nonrev59
I hear you should always wait for Job 2 to order your new truck. What’s the opinion here? I would think that since there really isn’t much difference in the 2018 F250 from 2017 that it really won’t or should I say shouldn’t make any difference. Guess no tooling differnce on the production line...
RPF
Only major difference between 2017 and 2017 is the availability of a 4X2 F-450 Pickup and the Limited model. The Limited model is basically just new upholstery. Probably no need to wait for "fixes" this model year. On to delays... My 2018 F-450 order is on Material Hold for Inflatable Rear seatbelt. The GM of my dealer is contacting the zone rep regarding my order (they forgot to put it in when I ordered it 3 weeks ago, so she's going to try to get them to up my priority) and I asked her to query the rep on the reason and length of the delay. I'll report back if I hear anything. I had them leave that option on my order for now. Edited October 13, 2017 by RPF
akirby
Job 2 just means there was a pricing change or change in options or some other change to the vehicle. Doesn’t have anything to do with quality. I’m not even sure there is always a job 2 on every vehicle every year.
Macmac350
I talked to my contact at KTP (where they make the super duties) ad he hasn't heard of any delay on them. doesn't mean some aren't delayed cause of a particular part like above. That happens sometimes but not the whole line be delayed. Now the Expedition and Navigator are pushed back. some sort of quality issue.
