waymondospiff
Note: I'd post this in the PAG + Mazda forum, but does anyone read that? Anybody? Mazda produced the 1 Millionth Mazda3, becoming the fastest Mazda to ever reach that milestone. As a question, the press release mentions an AWD model added in the 2007 update. Is that not an American option, because I've never heard of an AWD MZ3. http://media.ford.com/mazda/article_displa...amp;make_id=227 A Mazda6 rolled off the line as the 3 Millionth vehicle produced at AAI/Flat Rock. The Volcanic Red Mazda6 5-Door is being donated to New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity to support Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. So, after 2,999,999 MZ6s, MX-6s, 626s, Probes, Cougars, and Mustangs since 1987, the 3 Millionth car rolls off the line. Just a quick calculation, 3Mill./20yrs is an average of 150,000/year. With a capacity of 250,000 cars per year, AAI/Flat Rock historically is horribly underutilized. Finally, with the Mustang & MZ6 AAI/Flat Rock is at capacity, but the MZ6 needs more room and the Mustang is a bit cyclical. Ah well. http://media.ford.com/mazda/article_displa...amp;make_id=227 Feel free to discuss. Scott
mettech
Good to hear... I had a Mazda 323 in.. 1987... It was an excellent car. Sold it with 210K miles to a high school kid. He drove it for another 3 years.
