rgevans871
I have a 2017 Fusion Hybrid. I discovered after purchasing the car that it has no spare tire, only an inflator. I feel uncomfortable without having a spare in the event that I have a tire failure that is a puncture or blow out that is not inflatable. These usually happen on a Sunday or holiday and in any case to get a matching Michelin Green X tire is likely a special order. The clerk at the tire store where I just had to replace one of my tires because of a puncture in the shoulder of the tire, commented about 'Run Flat Tires' which was the first I had heard of this type of tire. Anyone had any experience with this type of tire? I'm kind of wondering why Ford wouldn't have put that kind of tire on the car originally considering there wasn't room for a spare. akirby
Cost and most run flat tires probably aren't as fuel efficient as the OEM tires.
