road turtle Posted August 15, 2022 Share Posted August 15, 2022 WOW, talk about sticker shock. I'm going to be really glad I bought the Maintenance Contract!!! Bought 3 gallons today to change the oil in the challenger and two generators. Walked out of the auto parts store, $150 lighter. When I was evaluating maintenance contract, I asked one local shop the cost to change oil and filters, the price I was quoted equaled the cost of the maintenance contract. That sold it for me... now given raw oil costs, me thinks I'm going to be happy. Not one to ever trust a shop to do even simple oil changes, but we're planning to be traveling a LOT, and I'm not dragging oil changing equipment with me around the country. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
