I feel pretty dumb...can't understand YouTube!!

...going through bits and pieces time with her.   I have tried and tried to understand how to repair the cables on the rear hatch.  You Tube has 4-5 video...but they bounce and only fo 1/2 the job...well...at least for me!

 

1.)  I have the hatch and the window not operating.   Everything is off...bare and ready to repair.

 

a.)  Exactly where does the ball fit on the door hatch?   I am using the aluminum bits...see where this aligns...but cannot understand where the ball goes.

 

b.)  The window has me totally confused.   Anyone have good pix or help,  please???
