630land Posted October 30, 2006 Share Posted October 30, 2006 For the last 15 years, the Taurus was just a generic cheaply amde car, that no one wanted unless if had huge rebates. More like a disposable cigar lighter or pen, than a desireable product. Ford rested on its 1986 laurels, thinking 'good enough', and that the market was moving to 70% trucks. I say bye bye, and put a fork in it. By 2011, most of the "last Tauruses' will be rolling in ghettos with dents all over them, sicne they wil be so cheap.
