  1. The first two images at the start of this thread do say Mustang, the rear says it's a bit of a "me too" Camaro treatment though. All the other images devolve to a point of being non-Mustang in a serious progression of straying from the program. I do approve of the attempt at shorter overhangs (a bit snouty though), and hips or bulges over and at the side of the rear wheels add some sexy curves to the typical Mustang box.
  2. Cool, but a little odd at the came time. Sort of like a small car trying to look like a big car.
  3. The designer Ahmad Moslemi Far, should not allow it to be flesh tone or brown in color. :reading: Maybe he is trying to tell his parents something?
  4. Compared to a custom S-10 pickup truck done pretty well, I think the front of the SRX is mostly "right". http://media.photobucket.com/image/kach22i...k/s-10caddy.jpg
  5. Alright, I have to admit that of the three other car forums I posted these pictures in, that is the funniest line of them all. Compared to the Mini it's an ugly little car. However compare it to the Yaris or Hyundai Getz which it gets compared to and at least it has some character. Like the Honda Fit and the Yaris; flair without oddity are not easily done in a small package. In general I like all small cars, some more than others. What I liked about the MiTo was that I never saw one before (and it's not Asian), not sure how quickly the novelty will wear off. Comparison cars? 6. I took these photos earlier this summer (Michigan). http://s184.photobucket.com/albums/x295/ka...bile/?start=140
  7. SRX This is one of the best detailed cars I have ever seen. The rear tail lights, rear wiper arm and interior in general get special notice. Ignore the carpet squares tossed in at the last minute to protect it for the next owner. http://s184.photobucket.com/albums/x295/kach22i/Automobile/ v
  8. Alfa Romeo is here in USA....................or at least in Ann Arbor, Michigan with a black box on the dash and a couple of wires going into it. I'll try to get better pictures, my camera does poorly at dusk. About 15 minutes later I almost hit a deer in my old Porsche while going 47 mph. Those old disc brakes and old dot 3 brake fluid did their job better than I could have expected. The camera and everything not tied down in the car went flying foreword, but all is well. http://s184.photobucket.com/albums/x295/kach22i/Automobile/ I can't make out the name, funny stick lettering all broken up style. This car looks much better in real life, like a Yaris done over by Abarth. The headlights are very Porsche like, the tailights are just cool.
  9. Speaking of black Mustangs, how about this convertable being driven by a blond in down town Ann Arbor yesterday? Not too shabby look'n. :shades:
  10. I'm picky about my reds. All the orange reds I call fake reds. All the burnt reds with metalic flake remind me too much of my old 1985 Diesel VW Golf in a bad way. A classic retro - true red is great, but the designer must plan for it so that the tail lights do not melt into it. Candy apple red only looks good on a few hot rods / street rods, looks pretty funny on a Porsche for instance (I seen/know of one). I like maroon, but must be dark rich and non-metalic. The new Camaro has a nice maroon out, but they also have an awful teal I bet just to piss me off. I bet an all black Mustang with glass roof is down right evil looking, I have not seen one yet but want to.
  11. 1. I don't like that shade of red. 2. I don't think I will like the black panel (gas cap area) on any color Mustang. 3. Yep, that side scoop is very tacky. The silver glass top Mustang I spotted a few weeks ago was smok'n hot in my opinion. http://www.blueovalforums.com/forums/index...showtopic=31717
  12. I saw one on the street a couple of days ago, mixed feelings. The black rear part is supposed to be recessed to look right, I'm disappointed guys (Ford designers). The front works - for me. Nasty color combination.
  13. RED SEATS! The 2010 Mustang (04/25/09 Ann Arbor), first one I've seen in person, Bill Ford was not around but it did have manuf'r plates. Did I capture a glass roof targa? YEEEEEEEEEHAAAAA I just noticed it. I was in a rush to meet a client and now wish I got out of my truck to look over this bad boy.
  14. This past summer my 18 year old parked on the street Geo Tracker was hit. I only had no-fault coverage but the insurance company of the hit-and-run driver paid me $1,000. We were not home but had several witnesses, and it was in broad daylight. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread....less&page=2 Better days: http://s184.photobucket.com/albums/x295/ka...ebra%20Tracker/ Your Ranger was a nice truck, it just needed some zebra stripes.
  15. In what parallel universe would that be considered nice?
  16. Cute car/truck/suv/crossover.....................what ever; it's cool.

    Mach III

Thanks, I'm crav'n jelly beans now. I have a plastic model of that car, it's still cool.
  18. I'm puzzled by some of the commentary which shows up in yellow. I'm also equally puzzled by the comments the actual speakers are making. I just can't imagine that they don't understand how bad this sounds when taken as a sound bite. I have no want to hear more, I'm already sick from what I've heard. Now if the intent is to avoid delegating the riches of government spending to a few, such as in the defense industry which has made record profits for makers of body armor and those building military bases overseas (KBR, etc.....) then I can see the point of "spreading it around". You just cannot take the power away from the states and the contractors to do work in a professional manner and then demand the same level of responsibility. The construction industry is screwed up enough as it is, I don't think it does good to attempt to tinker with it in the way they seem to be talking about. There will have to be guidelines which reward good work and experience or it will be just as bad as giving the work away to the lowest bidder. Even the lowest bidder must be qualified to do what they contract to do or the "numbers" are meaningless. Nuts! 20. Looking better, but still kind of crossed eyed and blind. Perhaps it needs a separation crowl/fin (headlight bucket trim) which defines the headlight from the main grille. Right now the headlights and grille just sort of occupy the same territory and seem confused. This was just so clean back in 1970, hard to duplicate. http://www.mustangdreams.com/1970-Mustang-Grande.htm The 2010 makes me appreciate the 1970 without being an exact copy, you have to respect the effort it took to pull this off. The rear is going to take some getting used to, I have to see it in person I suppose.
  21. I'm not sure why it's not working (per my tastes), but thanks for trying. An interesting dead end is better than not ever trying. The Boss is super hot by the way.
  22. Timm55, have you given any thought to flipping the headlight arrangement to the 1970 standard? http://bradbarnett.net/mustangs/wallpaper/64-73/69-70.htm I'm thinking of keeping the slats as lights for aero purposes, but moving them to the outer corners. Give it try for me if you have the time.
  23. It's just a two hole. Summit SUM-G3102 $259.95 http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.a...mp;autoview=sku http://orangetech.info/2008/07/26/knight-rider-car/
  24. Oh well, I tried. :reading: You could go all Hollywood with it Timm55. http://www.fquick.com/blog/Video__NBC_shar...er_episode/2251 You said extra cheese, right?
  25. That's cool. FYI............Just found this: 2010 Shelby GT500 SPY PHOTOS!!! http://stangplanet.com/forum/mustang-news-...spy-photos.html
