  1. AMEN! Too bad the politically correct liberal cocksuckers couldn't see the truth behind this!
  2. If you read my signature below. You will know why I don't read liberal rags like "Consumer Reports!" I make up my own decisions! Obviously long-term reliability wasn't much an argument for you or any other Honda or Toyota driver since any of those cars that are 15 years old or older are pure rusted out shells of thin sheet metal. They are just throw-away disposable cars with garbage components anyway! Especially in the engine compartment... I've changed batteries on some of them and I know from experience! I don't need mass media to tell me what car to drive, let alone someone like yourself; who belongs to the mainstream of America either! They ain't as smart as you may think and I believe that is part of the problem and not the solution. I'll never buy a foreign car... NEVER!
  3. We'll sit and see what happens. All I can say is THE STORM IS COMING! Especially if you are in my seniority range (10 years or less) If what the union said "that no jobs will be lost with this C.O.A." vote at the description and explanation of it before the vote THEN THEY ARE FULL OF BULL CAPITAL S WITH A HIT! No jobs lost... MY ASS! For them and the rest of the executive board, and the good ol' boys network of course no jobs will be lost. Is it any wonder why morale has gone down the rathole within the last 5+ years since this Visteon nightmare spinoff?
  4. You may be on your way to eating a big pile of shit pal! Yesterday alone while driving around the western end of the Metro Detroit area. I counted 7 Fusions, 4 Milans, and 1 Zephyr. That's was just in a 4 hour span on a busy shopping Saturday around here. Seems to me the momentum is starting to gain steam! Especially when these vehicles have 4 cylinder engines in them... GAS MILEAGE SPECIAL! I would love for a Honda or Toyota car to go up against any of my older 1970's and 1980's Ford, Mercury and Lincoln vehicles in a demolition derby or long term reliability test! When was the last Honda or Toyota seen at a car show from this era?
  5. Also, it doesn't take much to ruin valve stems either. Hitting a curb at precisely the right angle or running over debris on the road where it's located on the wheel itself can flatten a tire anytime. Think about that one also! It's happened to me a couple of times while trying to dodge debris that falls out of these hillbilly work vehicles on the freeways around here.
  6. Let's just say that I know you work in 49 and I have something to do with your department. Tell me what you know.
  7. You beat me to the punch on the article... I started a whole new topic on it without the information you provided... I just wonder what the end result is going to be after what I said in my reply on it. There will be a lot of related and unrelated cutbacks for sure... I mean several departments in my plant that provide the axles for the vehicles in these plants described herein may cut a shift, cut a line out or be shut down all-together. Not looking good at all!
  8. I got up early to watch Channel 4 and Channel 7 news. The reports were from today's edition of The Wall Street Journal. It said that the following plants are likely to be shutdown: Atlanta, St. Louis, Twin Cities, an engine plant in Windsor, Ontatrio Canada, and a un-named plant in Mexico. More details to follow next week. They must not be going to wait for next month I guess. All I know is what will be the cause and effect in all this. I mean. Certain supplier-related plants that feed these plants will have certain departments cutting down which is tantamount to a domino effect. Who knows what else is next?
  9. Did you ever realize that maybe the left is responsible as well? Look at the magazine rags, newspapers, outfits like CNN telling "the typical American consumer" that foreign cars are better. You wonder where your liberal cocksucker friends are really coming from now don't you? You always whine and bitch about the right. Place the blame where it belongs. ON BOTH SIDES!
  10. I couldn't agree more; but you also have to blame management as well! UAW reps who pretend to be on your side while sucking off management by doing nothing ain't worthy of my respect!
  11. You got to be kidding right? Ever since I hired in. I haven't seen a commiteeman yet! When I say that. I mean one in the true sense of the word; one that isn't a part company man either! But then again that really is the exception over there when you see a committeeman everyday... I'll be lucky if I see mine once a week! That ain't no joke either!
  12. Oh really? Then how come I have seen approximately 12 different Fusions driving around in my area in the last month or so? I could care less about the Cramry... I wonder if their entire exhaust system is still designed quite shabbily; meaning that it hangs down kinda low and at risk if the car bottoms out!
  13.  :P :P I wish I was that cameraman right now! :P :P
  14. Well then maybe the UAW should start going public by selling stock then... If it is run more like a business than so be it and let us buy up the stock so we can decide what to do next!
