  1. I don't think the MR who visited the other day is bidding for the job. His "Hi Seniority" wouldn't have been that high at MAP. I'm not aware of any other trade openings here at this time. The way the bid process was explained to me was, because we have 2 MR on ILO in the plant, if a high senoirity MR here gets the bid and goes to MAP, then they have to pull one of the MR that's on ILO back to tools here to replace him.
  2. We are going back to a 5/8's work schedule with a small 3/12's maintenece crew by August 1st. It has been said they need to add some Machine Repair. I would expect a bid posting soon. We don't have any on ILO. We have 2 who were cut back to production from other plants that transfered into our plant, now working production. Woodhaven had the MAP posting for Machine Repair because these 2 are now working in our plant.
  3. They have posted a bid for 2 Machine Repair at MAP, final assembly. The bid is posted at AAI, Deftp, Dtp, Milan, Rawsonville, Saline (light blue loans from Zone 1 only), and Woodhaven Stamping. The bid is up until 5pm, June 14th.
  4. Your vacation time that was to be used for a shutdown does not convert to personal time. You have to save 80 hours for shutdown, but if you work one or both of the shutdown weeks, you just reschedule your hours to use when you want. I've done it every year for the past 14 years, except for last year.
  5. I'm guessing you guys are down another week. Today, they extended our layoff at our plant for another week.
  6. You don't get to vote on it. The language on AWS is in the February 2009 modification agreement. And, it doesn't matter if you are trades or production. Our plant has been on an AWS for over a year and a half. We did not get to vote on it, because you don't. For the record, I'm trades and working an AWS, (and not liking it at all). And, I have read the contract.
  7. You don"t get to vote on it! It's already in the National Agreement, as liquidspine has stated in his post. All the company has to do is give the local a 14 day notice that the plant is going to an AWS. Read the contract!
  8. My W2 showed up in the mail today. Always got it at work in the past.
  9. All manangement has to do is give the local 14 days notice to go to an AWS. There is no vote. We've been on it for over a year and a half, and it still sucks!
  10. Woodhaven Forge is not part of Woodhaven Stamping, but it is in the same local, 387. Stamping is on West road next to I-75, while the forging plant is on Allen rd, south of West rd, maybe a mile away. The plant opened around 1995 or so. The future of the plant is probably like the rest, who knows!
  11. There is a TSB, (#10-18-4, low frequency knocking noise from the engine at hot idle only), that your truck may fall under. It states "vehicles equipped with a 4.6L 3V or 5.4 3V may exhibit a low frequency knocking noise from the engine at hot idle only. The noise is predominately heard from the right front wheel well area and/or the right hand (RH) engine cam cover. This noise may be generated from the RH variable camshaft timing (VCT) phaser assembly." Ask your dealer if this TSB applies to your truck.
  12. No, we stamp more than just F150 parts. We stamp about 65% of the F150 parts, so I'm guessing right now that if we aren't making F150 parts the next 2 weeks, the truck plants aren't making trucks for the next 2 weeks. I hope I'm wrong.
  13. Inverse seniority layoff. High seniority goes on layoff first. It's a TLO.
  14. What's the status with the PCM issue? Was informed today that Woodhaven stamping is going to have an inverse layoff the next two weeks, due to a parts problem at the truck plants.
  15. 2 people from Woodhaven Stamping.
  16. The scheduled build date is normally the date the vehicle is finished. Your car started being built on the 9th and was produced on the 12th. It hasn't been release for shipping yet. Once it's shipped, it should show up at your dealer in about a week.
  17. Your truck is in Fostoria. It should at the dealer in about a week, give or take a few days.
  18. I upgraded with Sprint 3 weeks ago, and still got the discount.
  19. Your truck is in transit and on the way to the dealer as of 7:30 this morning. It should be at the dealer this afternoon, if not there already.
  20. We have been working an AWS here at Woodhaven stamping since last June. In my opinion, it sucks! There is talk that we may go back to 5/8's soon. Most of the people are ready to go back, especially the people on B and C crews. Even the salaried people on the floor hate it (they get to spend 12 hours a day in the plant). Buffalo sent some people here last week, and I know they got an earful from our C crew! I had heard that after talking to our people, your chairman did not want anything to do with the AWS. And we still have some Tool & Die on ILO. It may work in an assembly plant, but not a parts plant.
  21. Your truck has been received by Allied Systems in Jessup, MD today. I would have to say this is the company that will deliver your truck to the dealer. I would have your dealer call Allied and find out when they will deliver it. It could be in a day or a week.
  22. The latest info I can see is that it is still on rail, passing through Cumberland, Md, as of yesterday at about 5:00am. It's getting closer to you.
  23. Your truck is heading south right now. At around 9:30 tonight, it was in Walbridge, Ohio. I'll keep you posted.
  24. Once it's released from the factory for shipping, then your at the mercy of the shippers. As of right now, your truck is at the CSX Transportation yard in New Boston, Michigan, showing an ETA of April 29th. I would think that it will probably be after that date. I'll keep watching.
  25. Your truck was released to be shipped on April 6, but it is still at Dearborn Truck, on ramp 59 awaiting shipment. Accurate Auto Carriers is listed as the shipper.
