How long/ How many have been taken at your plants?
When I was at core skills at the Tech Center and this came from the UAW head of Skilled Trades Negotiating the new formula is:
62 years old and at least 10 years of seniority.
30 years regardless of age.
When any journeyman meets this criteria, the company has to put an apprentice on for the specific trade, unless it is being phased out.
Good luck to anyone who has gotten picked or is awaiting.
Chryslers Crews are as follows:
A:m-th
B:w-sa
C:f-sa(days),m-tu(nights)
Every crew has Sunday off easier to rotate supers, and b crew is the shit shift.
I personally would enjoy this. Knowing I get every Sunday off and get OT equalization w time and quarter paid Saturday?!
They don't start rail shipment by train until mid October. I work at DTP. We had rail cars for two three weeks and trucks, frame company still couldn't keep up. We stopped producing regular cabs and only made SC & CC. Second supplier now working with Metatalsa(?) to get frame numbers back to normal shipments.
Is this your first contract?
Every contract there is multiple scab postings classified, monster.com, etc for scab auto workers. Nothing new, just fear mongering.
Edit:spelling
I'm at DTP Final, we heard job 1 is October 1st...we had a late start on 2015 with the body shop issues, frame plant not being able to keep pace.
Glad you bought the best truck in the world, I hope you enjoy it when it arrives!!!
