A lot of the UAW buyout people are backing out as their time to leave comes up. We are hearing all the horror stories about being only offered 10-12 bucks an hour with zero benefits. Ford will not get their UAW quota of 30,000.

Justin case you try to figure out the reason for the number of hours a shift works, forget it! It has a lot to do with the amount of material available to build units versus how much the plant manager wants to build the units. This has been a power struggle for the last five years since the FPS process has decreased the amount of material in the plants. We used to carry hundreds of units of "kittys" to protect the plant in case of a maintenance breakdown or the Superbowl flu but since Sorbaines - Oxley law was created you can no longer do this.

At @8600 per week, 60K wil not be enough to work three shifts for very long unless the incoming orders rate picks up speed. Need to prepare for a lot of spring and summer downweeks! Best time of year to have them.

Having been at AAP and KTP I can say the KTP people are good, hard working people just like the AAP people. I will say Kentucky is a beautiful state and the people are friendly as well. A little word of advice to the AAP transfers; When you come to KTP or LAP, don't tell us how y'all did it at AAP. If AAP was so good why are you moving to KY.? We all know how good AAP was but the reality is you are coming to KY to join our team so keep your comments to a minimum and enjoy the state and the people. P.S. Y'all need to decide if you are red(UL) or blue(UK)!
