Rico, I was referring to international sales.

For S550 the history is that the V8 is a high percentage of sales

thise buyers tend to be more hard core V8 enthusiasts in other

parts of the world. Completely different to domestic sales.

How many Mustang (non-Mach-E) does Ford  sell outside of North America each year?

another thing regarding electricity/EVs and taxes…..government is going to find a way to make up for lost gas tax revenue.   Probably with some per mile tax or something that they’ll then use to track where you go more than they do now lol.

They already do.  Illinois requires EV plates and charges more for registration. Other states do as well.

  3. I’m not sure this is a good idea. Bronco name is almost 50 years old. It’s been way too many years since it was relevant.

The Bronco II was just a half baked gift for soccer moms to buy. I’d say the last special Bronco was the FSB in the early 90s. After OJ’s White Bronco it was watered down till end of production.

They would really have to do their homework on this one for it to succeed.

They won't offer it at all?  Yikes.

I know the Bronco removed the temperature display on the temperature knobs for '22s now (I think F-150 did too), presumably because of lack of chips.

Unclear. It’s a bulletin to dealers. No notice to buyers. Wouldn’t think to check that at purchase. Would stink to buy, everything saying you should have it, and Ford saying “too bad”.

  5. I loved the tailgate on my old caprice wagon. It could swing down, or out.

    1) If GM (and Ford?) could do it forty years ago without a gate in a gate why not Ford now?

    2) The hinge is on the wrong side for a LHD vehicle. It’s a common complaint with RHD originated imports like the GX460.  It should be on the opposite side so you can load/unload at the curb without having to go around the open gate.

Although Blue Cruise sounds cool, it's still only a Level-2 semi-autonomous driving. Which means you still must keep your eyes on the road and ready to take over at any time. In which case I may as well be holding onto the wheel anyway. Perhaps when they get to level 4 or 5 autonomous (not available in the US at all yet), then I might feel comfortable letting my hands off the wheel. That's going to be a few years down the road.

I keep my hands on the wheel. The benefit of BC as I see it is the vehicle sucks at sensing when your hands are on the wheel. With ACC I am constantly nagged about keeping my hands on the wheel when they are. I have to make a point of tugging the wheel from time to time so it knows. BC eliminates the nag.
