  1. Actually I didnt know who you were till my g.u. pointed you out . I only posted the question becasue several people in my area were laughing about the hole confusion about us building the transit and how you were always on here pointing out stuff about a place you "retired " from. I havent posted on blue oval in years. my name is Ken. I work on the opposite end of where you used to work. B33 is where im usually hanging . Nothing personal..just curious why you have such an opinion about volume and what goes on here?
  2. Isnt this a site for Ford employees? I watched a boss chase you off the motor line a couple of weeks ago? You sure do spend a bunch of time concerned about your previous place of employment !!
  3. Wow! I thought I was the only one who did that! I'm glad that other people do it also. I would never do anything that would put them in harms way... but if you are waiting to be let out from somewhere, like a gas station or bank... First I look to see what you drive. If it's not built here... you wait. My wife tried to tell me as a human being I should be polite to people no matter what they drive. I told her as an American holding an UAW card in my wallet, I feel they are not being polite driving their foreign vehicle.
  4. When I started reading this I didnt know why people were blocking all things written by you. I clicked around for a while and checked out what other threads had to say. You seem to have a habit of not knowing anything about any subject you speak on!! Now you attack Christians? I'm pretty sure that the Christians didn't do this. I'm also pretty sure that those worthless politicians that are trying to break our union didn't ge their ideas from the bible.. While I'm no expert on mental health, You might want to get a check up. Clear your head for a while. After that try educating yourself on whichever subject your pretending to be an expert on this week. Try using more sources than a union rep and cnn.
  5. What is it that we need to straighten out?? In my area ( chassis) I dont see the awol problem that the morning urinal spoke about. We do have some awols but not close to what the media is printing. The only thing I see is break downs slowing down production. Isnt that why we are going back to 5:00 p.m. start? To give them time to fix some of this crap that keeps breaking??

  7. You are 100% right on that. What other job can a person have( and keep) and miss 5 times a month and still keep it? We are told that Detroit is paying close attention to us right now. We are also told by the union that there are plenty of other plants wanting our vehicle.
  8. Not a day goes by without someone around me talking about this. The company has no right to set people with 5 yrs in an area that you should have grey hair to be in!!! We do not have any real relief people that I can see ... they are all general utilities and hand picked extras (hand picked by management). In my area we have a younger girl that says she is pregant. She sits at a table for 8 hrs a day. Then goes around for her social tour then goes home and gets 10hrs pay.
  9. J-150--I used to think the same way about the bible. Our plant has offered classes to learn about the "very old book". The teacher teaches only what the oldest text available says. He can read and speak hebrew and Koine greek. After 5years of classes I would have to disagree with your statement. The translations are almost identical. I have 15 different translations. The only ones that are drasticly differnet are the mormons and the Jehovah witness. They all say the same thing. There is not a tranlation I know of that condones the gay agenda. I personally have nothing against the guy that started this thread. I totally disagree with what he is saying and trying to do. With all that being said, I am not his judge or jury. He would have to make his own desisions. My point of answering him was that you cant pick a couple of words from a chapter and say it proves your point. If he was to read entire book, he would see the book is about a realtionship with God. The only thing the book promotes is a realtionship with God. It does not promote any man made agenda that I'm aware of......
  10. You have taken just about everything you put on here out of context . You need to find another way to justify what you are trying to say. I could make the bible say anything I want if I just type out 1/2 of a verse. You are trying to use/quote something you dont understand. While I disagree with your lifestyle, I didnt respond to this to attack you. I responded to recomend you go back and try reading the entire chapter that these verses came from. You will see that using the bible to justify same sex marriages doesnt make a whole lot of sense.
  11. You already have the moa . You are just not smart enough to know it!! Group leaders are the same as team leaders from the Villager. Unlike you , my opinion is based on fact. I was a team leader back when the Villager started. There isnt that much difference between what we have now and what we had then. Please dont ramble on about the old days. Save your energy.
  12. electraglide, you have no idea what you are talking about. Are you a doctor ? Do you know what is wrong with his wife? I doubt it!! You just assume that because she is married to a union rep that her medical problems dont exist. What kind of backwards pretzel logic are you using to come to this conclusion? Secondly, Mike is an excellent rep. He has the knowledge and the guts that are needed to represent our local. This forum is here for all of us to give information and offer our opinions. Everyone has an opinion. It seems that yours in an unfounded and flawed.
  13. I disagree about your last post concerning a conspriracy. Everyone around me is talking about the favortism shown towards the unions and the salaries family members. I personally dont have any political agenda. I'm not posting these things to make Nick or Viscomi look bad. I'm pointing out something that is a problem. This is where you point out OHAP problems isnt it? Instead of arguing, about it I agree with what you said--give it a month and see if things are being done right.
  14. I have a feeling we are going to hear things like past practice--the company has the right to assign ---I'll look into that--I'm not sure who did that etc..... I'm just curious which committee person or bargaining rep will actually tell you the truth. Your senority does not mean a thing if it gets in the way of their friend or family getting a free ride that they havent served the time to deserve!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I work trim dep. on nights. Everyone from Avon Lake was aware of this pile of crap we are being served . Instead of digesting our crap on our own, we made sure we shared it with our new union brothers and sisters from lorain. We pointed out to them that our local cuts just as many or more hogs than theirs did!! EVERYONE SHOULD BE ON A JOB THAT THEIR SENORITY GOT THEM. IF YOU HAVE LOW SENORITY YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE A STOCK JOB OR WORK IN WRAP . WHAT IS BEING DONE HERE IS WRONG.
  15. The other low senority person that was working in stock on a "temporary basis" is the chairman's son in law. We are going to combine the two plants and level out senority----unless they are related to me in any way! All the Lorain people that came over already dont have a great trust of our local. This will make them feel like they are right at home. My group leader was telling about some of the same things that were going on in Lorain. Who was the union rep you spoke to??? They should do what that plant manager up north did---Only Ford vehicles are parked on certain lots. Make the person who doesnt support his/her own work place park at the farthest point possible. Maybe he/she would think about it while they walked for an extra 10 minutes in and out.
  16. If you were related to one of the chairmen, you could be trained to make the stock department more versatile. Better yet if your mom's is Robin Bricker, you go out and cover a job that you need 30 years to get..... some things never change!!! With all the confusion happeneing right now, you had to figure that certain people wouldnt have to have senority to get good jobs. I thought I was seeing things when I saw someone with 2000 senority drive by on a buggy delivering stock.
  17. I did see Baire once last week. This is my first time having him as a rep. Right now there is way too much stuff going on to have him hibernating!!
  18. I sat the summer in gen. We sat in Lorain's new paint department that cost way more 150 mill. put it in and never used it. I'm not trying to be negative towards any plant. I have come to the conclusion that when you enter any Ford facility you have just entered bizzaro world. Everything is backwards. If it makes sense or has logic involved, the opposite will happen.

  20. I cant figure out why anyone would bother trying to set this guy straight??? No matter what you tell him he will carry on like everyone is out to get him and the other members of the 425. I talked to several people that would know about the things he is presently ranting about. Either his numbers are wrong or his facts are wrong. Nothing he says makes sense. Senority does not equal intelligence !! If you have 30 years and you are bull headed and slow, that just means you have 30 years and your slow. That does not mean whatever you say is correct.

  22. It's kinda funny that all this bickering back and forth is about these premo jobs everyone is so worried about!? I'm around the labor pool people that do the not so premo jobs all day. Most of them I talk to could care less about all this back and forth whining and crying being done by the high senority at both plants. Most people seem worried about having a job. Not if they have the best jobs. The majority of the people at both plants couldnt get any of these gravy jobs anyhow. So they get to listen to and read all this crap going back and forth. What great leaders we have!!! That will help us become one local HOW????
  23. Preach on brother slapshot2!!! Your 1st post hit the nail right on the head. I actually typed a similar version of that post. After I finished it I Xed out and never hit add reply. I read through it and came to the conclusion that no matter what you tell a person like that, they will still be dumb. No matter how many times you point out his lack of logic, he still will be a senseless old bitter fool. Let's face it, you can't polish a turd. Your second post dropped to his level. Telling him that when his plant closes " he got what he deserved"?? There are several people from both plants that read this on a regular basis. Even though you are just trying to piss him off, when you say things like that you are making these mental pygmies seem like they are talking the truth.
  24. That's funny how big and bad people get when they dont have to face the person they are talking too!! What part of my comments come across that I own the company??? I can't help that you are an bitter old timer that believes that garbage that Jack is putting out. Do you have these dillusions of greatness on a regular basis, I suggest you get yourself a mirror. Just sit there and tell yourself how great and how smart you are!!! Have you gone over to see what jobs are being bid out???I doubt it. Do you know first hand what Jack is saying is true?? I doubt it. Until you look into the truth of what is going on, you shouldnt speak. When you speak, it shows off your ignorance. I have met alot of new people in the last week. None of them are running around trying to make problems up just so we can stay divided.
