  1. Haven't used 'Stones in several years-courtesy of Mssr. Nasser. BTW, check most any manufacturer and you will see that unless it is a high performance vehicle or a premium brand, you will see that the tires are nearly always an entry level-or in your terms, cheap, tire. Anyway you are right, I wouldn't hit a sick dog in the backside with a set of Generals! Have had good luck with Firestones, though!
  2. Bob, Our Constitution is just fine (except the left's constant attack on the second amendment-if the looney from Fruits n' Nuts land gets to be Speaker-watch out!) and remember Canada didn't have a Bill Of Rights until recently. I prefer to live in a non-secular nation, thanks! Respectfully, M. P.S. Besides, if Ford Motor actually gave a crap about Mr. Citrus, as I have stated before, they would have swatted him like a bug.
  3. Credit score prohibits him from doing so. :P
  4. 20" chrome wheels + The rubberbands fitted to them + Ohio winters=A bad idea.
  5. While invasion/reduction of our personal privacy rights is something to be very concerned about, please do better than quoting radical "tinfoil hat" wearing websites (Prison Planet) in supporting your position. I personally cannot take anyone seriously who even mentions the so-called 9/11 government conspiracy. Just my.02 worth.
  6. The Stock V-6 Mustang does not come with the wiring. If he bought the Ford accessory kit, it will have everything he needs. If not he can find the harness he needs on ebay.
  7. Especially in The People's Republic Of California!
  8. Otis should put a penny on the tonearm-he is skipping. And BTW get some new material we are getting bored with your schtick!
  9. So if Lemon's incessant whining spins clockwise :blah: , I suppose his clone down under's must spin counterclockwise!
  10. Sirius satellite radio is only available as a dealer installed option-I checked the accessory website and there is no installation instrution available there. Check with your selling dealer-they would be best able to assist you
  11. Autoextremist quoted Mr. Ron in this weeks issue. See www.autoextremist.com check out the "On the Table" section. A word of caution though-opinion of the site owner is contained in the article-you may not necessarily agree with it.
  12. Uh, no...I like good ol' Cleveburg, Oh. (Home of the Cleveland Professional Football Franchise!) And I don't smoke-anything.
  13. I don't know about Quebec, but that is a felony here!
  14. It depends on what you mean by "played". Monica Lewinsky played with a professional too! :D
  15. CaSVT, Have you driven it? Does he know how to drive it? Please don't get angry, this is a fair question, I have seen in my 20 years on the service end, many people who do not know how to drive stick. Six times in 2K miles is a lot of visits. These are just questions I needed to ask because you did not mention wheter you have driven the car. Just for the record, I have not seen any issues with the dozen or so stick V6 Mustangs my store has sold. You also say Ford won't replace the trans-did this come from a company rep or through the dealer? What he may want to do is either talk with the dealership GM or owner, try another dealer or get a hold of Customer relations and let them know the situation.
  16. Haven't received the tech data to complete the campaign, but it sounds like an engineering/design issue rather than an assembly issue. When further info is available I will repost.
  17. Yeah, where are your numbers coming from shrewd? And maybe you should try driving another example. The Fusions with the 4-cylinder I have driven have been very quiet cars. And not to mention a blast to drive with a 5 speed. :D
  18. Engine made right here in good old Cleveland, Ohio!!! :yup: :yup:
  19. I have heard of some Shaker 500/1000 amps staying turned on and causing battery to draw down in a couple of days. Your servie tech might want to check the circuit of these ams for draw. It is a pretty simple test. Hope this helps.
  20. Have not seen that issue here with Freestyle but in researching I found a Technical Servie Bulletin #06-17-02 relating to various fuel gauge related trouble codes and ewrrati gauge operatio due to the impact of sulfur level in the fuel. Maybe this is what your dealer plans to do, there are redesigned fuel sender parts to correct the condition. At one time we were adding Chevron Techron (which advertises that it cleans sulfur contamination-so Ford is not the only manufacturer having this concern.)to clean the sulfur contamination from the sender card, But this procedure should correct you problem as I understand it. Hope this helps Cheers!
  21. Yes I do. It is a 1995 Connie. My involvement was minimal but through exposure was "enlightened".
