I'm glad I leased mine. This is the second time I've been in a rental with out my Escape.

One aspect of the Fusion that really disappointed me is all the highly scratchable grey painted plastic on the interior. Right out of a 2004 Mazda6. The interior of the Focus and the Escape is actually more upscale looking IMHO.

Guys, please try to help. Does anyone know why there is a stop ship? Also, in my experience the real world MPGs of the 1.6EB and the 2.0EB are about the same. Anyone else notice different?

The stop start feature isn't even available to order yet. There must be another reason.

My Zone Manager confirmed that there is a stop ship on Fusions and they are not scheduling any more! He won't say why. Does anyone know?

THE CV IS GONE? WHO CARES!!! The fact is that even if there is no retail order guide for the 2008 CV, THERE IS A RETAIL ORDER GUIDE FOR THE 2008 GMQ!!!!!! The market does not support both models, so Ford is sticking with the one that does. I work at a FLM dealer and we do not stock CVs. CAUSE THEY NEVER SELL! We do have a nice selection of new and preowned GMQs. Go worry about something important. :P Mark.

Reality Check, The best concept in the world won't help me sell the boring crap on my showroom floor I'm taking about the refreshed Escape which comes to market with the least competitive powertrain in its class. The 08 Ford Focus which merely brings Focus up to the where it should have been in 05. With both vehicles I want to know where the 5 speed and 6 speed auto trannies are? Ford can advertise bold moves all it wants but it to me bold means TO LEAD not to follow which is all Ford is doing right now. The Edge, the Mustang, the Fusion, they seem to be the exceptions to the Rule of Mediocrity at Ford. Come on Mark Fields lets kick some BUTT! Mark.

Ford has to do alot of redesigns for the 2008 Model year. They have to switch the whole lineup to push/pull safety window switchs. Seems like it would make sense to update the whole interior at the same time. Mark.

I put $40 Phillips white bulbs in my headlamps. Also the headlamps in the Fusion while well aimed are not at all bright.
