  1. The quote is accurate. Do you think it is possible that both quotes are accurate? Perhaps there is more than one quote from Henry Ford? Your first post and you are already wrong. It will be very difficult for you to match my 97.6% accuracy rate.
  2. Tundra sales up 74%. Maybe Toyota does know what they are doing. If Ford was thinking they would let Bill jr go work for Toyota. Let Bill jr teach Toyota the turtle on the post management style. Even the playing field.

  4. Autoblog test of the GM system. Ford will need something to compete with this. There are 2 electric motors and everything is contained in the tranny. http://www.autobloggreen.com/2007/05/01/ab...-and-gmc-yukon/
  5. They have diesels in cars. Go to Europe and you can buy a 300 with a diesel. Build a hybrid and lose money.
  6. Why would you call a guy that is right 97.6% of the time a tard?
  7. It will be interesting to see Chryslers first quarter numbers.
  8. What is a Rhondo? No I don't drive one. I have a Dart and a GTX and Monte CarloSS and a Valiant convertible and a Chevy pickup and a Ford Ranger but no Rhondo.
  9. I remember when they were launching the Pacifica and Zetsche was calling it a segment buster. Just before he said that Toyota would never outsell Chrysler in the USA.
  10. I did not change the subject. I am merely replying to the dealer that knows more about the auto industry than anyone else. You are the one that is ducking replying to the topic.
  11. Well I know the Ford dealer I bought my truck from provides abysmall service and from what I hear the other ones in town are no better. The dealers are the weakest link in the whole Ford system.
  12. Actually I think the genius of my posts is that I will make predictions and then watch them come true.
  13. We will just wait a couple more months and see then. OK?
  14. Actually Bluecon is right 97.6% of the time.
  15. I am right again. Quote Bluecon April 3, 2007. "One decent month does not prove your case. The numbers look good for March, however I believe long term it will sputter. I think after this initial sales burst you will be looking at 7k a month. Not enough to profitably run a huge plant like OAC. The key thing for Ford is to get the Flex up and running." http://www.blueovalforums.com/forums/index...mp;#entry161613
  16. Fact is sales were down almost 2k for the month. Nice story though.
  17. Or as in this case a correct factual based opinion. Do you think Edge sales will be up next month? Or is it going to do the 500? BEC was right.
  18. Not true. It does not have the same chassis as the minivan. "We outsold the Murano" does not make the Edge a success. Note: sales in March were almost 11k and sales in April are very close to 9k. Downward trend will continue next month.
  19. Why? For stating his opinion? I recomend you read the US Constitution. It is still legal to have an opinion in the USA.
  20. So you think 9k a month is a succes? Barely outsold the Pacifica. And Chrysler builds the Pacifica as a extra vehicle in the minivan plant. The Edge will be lucky to crack the 100k barrier for the year. BEC was right.
  21. Chrysler up and the Edge mirroring the 500. Who would of thunk it?
  22. The Edge sold just over 9,000 and you are declaring it a great success?ROTFLMAO The Oakville plant which has a capacity of 25k a month made 9,000 Edges? There is no stopping the Ford jugernaut. BEC was right.
  23. Churlish yes but true. My believe is that for every hybrid Ford sells they pay Toyota a royalty. And only a fool would think Ford did not copy the Toyota system. (disclaimer: this board is overun with fools)
