haha try a new belt, thatll prolly work. if not try a new tensioner. maybe ur belt isnt as tight as it should be due to age or a bad tensioner

Why buy the Ranger over the Mazda B-series?

also the aftermarket doesnt have much for the mazdas -
ive had 3 rangers..a 91, 94, and 04, all with 4.0 v6 4x4. All were standards, and this is where my only problem lays. on both the 94 and now the 04 ive had nothin but trouble with those transmissions. the trans. on my 91 was better than the one on my brand new 04!
