  1. ***** Profit Sharing Distribution ***** The accelerated partial profit sharing payment will be distributed on December 15, 2011. This date is later than originally indicated because it was necessary to establish alternative methods of distribution at our members request. ... As such, there are now three methods in which you may elect to have your profit sharing payment distributed. 1) Cash, either by check or direct deposit. 2) Contributions to your TESPHE account. 3) Contributions to your Ford Interest Advantage Account (FIA). The election period will run from Monday, November 14 until Tuesday, November 22, 2011. Further details regarding tax obligations and any other deductions will be forthcoming. We appreciate your patience and hope that you will find the payment options, or any combination thereof, acceptable. Should you have any further questions, please contact your Local Benefits Representative. Thank you
  2. Will there be an opportunity for us to elect to have some or all of our profit sharing directed to our TESPHE? and if so......when?
  3. Would someone please post the profit sharing formula again....seen it on here a few weeks ago and can't seem to find it again.......thanks
  4. That is what I thought....that profit sharing is solely based on North American Sales....period...but then, I recall the year that the Firestone debacle came about.....I think we had pretty good sales that year but remember our profit sharing checks were small....it is a little foggy....and the following year they wanted us to buy back all the ground up tires for mulch for our yards......hmmmmm....does anyone remember what our sales were that year (Firestone)? like I said it is a little foggy....
  5. [ Rumor.....Rumor......but I'll take it if it's true.....
  6. exactly.....something just doesn't make sense.....get rid of a shift....hold on to 200 extra people....for tag relief....and nobody seems to know how tag relief really works.....we'll just do it.......i know it is a stretch of the imagination on my part but it really seems to me that they wanted to eliminate a shift....cram 72 jobs an hour down our throats and add the tag relief fiasco and change the start time.....then i hear talk of going back to two shifts...adding another vehicle.....i wouldn't be surprised that after all this they offer another round of buyouts to see if we are soooooo tired and worn out from all this that just enough of us will take it so they can hire entry level workers to fill a whole second shift....in the meantime our product suffers......
  7. Don't hold your breath on AAI and the union getting anything resolved.....in my 23 years at this plant i have never seen it so unorganized and people turning around in circles.....our union leadership is pathetic and our managment has their heads in their arses.......tag relief is going to be a nightmare if it comes to fruition.....in our unit alone we have two tag relief people that are on restrictions and can't do an RTO job and the other never comes to work and when they do can't do one single job .....pathetic.....we should have NEVER had people pick tag relief positions without a clear definition of job descriptions......the company has thrown together a line balance to go to one shift and they go off halfed cocked without any forethought......what a mess....and we are expected to build quality vehicles under this kind of leadership???? WTF
  8. Ok, now that we have signed the grievance...when do we get our bonuses and our COLA back? oh, and our break time and our tuition assistance....etc...etc....
  9. AAI members are laid off for two weeks.........will they be collecting signatures when we return in two weeks????
  10. Letter says January 5th....should get web address here shortly...I hope....if anyone hears anything please post..............
  11. Yes, my Mom gets a small pension from Ford 380 a month....now they are going to take 100 from that....now her pension is 280 a month....my father was skilled tradesmen for 21 years....and this is what his widow is left with.....she is 83 years old....on several different meds....pitiful...
  12. I was talking about today............so, never mind......we were told that we would be getting OT for the overtime worked after the SWW.......will believe it when I see it......also heard they may take volunteers to work Saturday..........day shift
  13. If we have to work on Friday is that OT or will they take all of Monday's SWW??
  14. Amen to that!!!! Move along already....it is time....there are way too many of the above mentioned in our plants.....if they want to stay...they should have to pull their weight....I bet they would retire then...oh and cut their overtime........notice they all work in departments that have overtime......
