  1. My grandmother retired from FMC in 1986. Us grandkids were always eligible for the Z-Plan, but she passed away in 2007. Can I still get the A-Plan pin even though she is deceased? You would think Ford would do it due to the economic conditions, but I know rules are rules. I am planning on getting a 09 Lincoln MKS next week. I can already get X Plan through my work, but obviously would rather Z Plan. Thanks!
  2. I'll sell you mine for $22,000! I love it, but I have too many cars! Light Sage Metallic with Black interior. Located in New Mexico (rust free)!
  3. Thanks! Looks like I will be one of those who is going to trade in so I can get those rebates (and downsize). Thanks again! :yup:
  4. So I own a 07 Lincoln MKZ AWD. Recently I got a promotion which includes a company vehicle so I now have no need for the MKZ (although I love it). Anyways, It seems like I am having the HARDEST time selling it. I know the economy is is the toilet, but I have dropped the price on it substancially. The miles are VERY low (only 14,000). I have even tried Ebay. The only option I can think of is to trade the MKZ and my hubby's F150 for a new car.....all just to down size. Any tips? :titanic:
  5. Call another dealership in the area and ask. They might know.
  6. You can get X-Plan pricing and any nationally offered incentives. This should be about the best price you can get other than Employee Pricing. Here is where you can request a pin and get further information. Good luck! http://www.blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?showforum=45
  7. I had my 07 MKZ tinted all the way around in 15%. I currently live in New Mexico. The winds here reach up to 50+ MPH, which causes dust and sand to blow around. The sand always builds up in the crack of my window and when I roll up window up or down the sand and dirt scratches the tint. I have already had one of the windows re-tinted. I am going to go back one more time and have them re-do it (because they did a crappy job!). Any prevention ideas?
  8. I have a 3.5L MKZ and no problem here.
  9. My 07 MKZ has the keyless entry. Sorry enough to say, I have yet to use it. I just took a peek at this order guide for the 08 Fusion and I am a bit disappointed to see that they are going to offer Light Sage to the Fusion. My MKZ is light sage and I think that is one of the things that makes it unique. Also, the voice activated navigation. I love the navigation I have, but I don't think that it is voice-activated. Oh well. I still love my MKZ! :happy feet:
  10. I live near Clovis/Portales. About 15 minutes from Texas border.
  11. No, it only took a long time because of all of the holidays inbetween the time I ordered it.
  12. What about my 3.5L MKZ? I am going to go check now.
  13. great choice on both vehicles. I have a 2007 MKZ Light Sage AWD as well. I LOVE IT!
  14. Maybe he is thinking it will operate similar to AAI.
  15. Can anyone help me out and give me the information to contact the life insurance company info that Ford uses. Specifically for retirees. Thanks a bunch!
  16. Wow.....you are going to buy two P-O-S's in a row? If you ever need my vehicle expertise I will help you. GO F-150. There is a reason why it is the BEST SELLING TRUCK FOR 29 YEARS STRAIGHT!!!!
  17. The brake dust on my F-150 was bad, but then I bought some wheel wax. This stuff really works, I have only used it once, but my rims look good and clean because of it. Before the rims would get almost black from the brake dust. www.wheelwax.com
  18. Salt can cause a lot of damage to chrome wheels---pitting, corrosion, etc. I would put a chrome wax on the wheel. You can buy the chrome wax a specialty wheel store. This is just like wax for your paint, but for your wheels. I use: "Wheel Wax" from www.wheelwax.com if you look under FAQ's you will see this Q&A:Q - I live in the Snow Belt. Will WheelWax protect my wheels against road salt and harsh winter road chemicals? A - Yes, WheelWax is designed to help combat these harsh conditions, keep in mind, whenever road salts contact your wheels you should clean them as soon as posible to keep your wheels looking great. HOPE THIS HELPS!!! :happy feet:
  19. I have the Ford Navi in my Lincoln MKZ. It's worth the money I think. I took a trip from Amarillo, TX to Phoenix, AZ with no problems what so ever. I love it---especially the Sirius Radio.
  20. looks like Ford is getting smart with their commercials. I saw a good one for the Expedition vs. the Suburban today. I couldn't believe that it was a Ford commercial!
  21. I put factual information on this board and I get no reply. WEIRD. :reading:
  22. Wow.....I have no problems with my AWD MKZ.....but then again, no snow in New Mexico (and yes, that is in the US)
