If he really wanted to drive a Zephyr (and not a MKZ) then he should come out here. I've seen dealers with dozens of Zephyrs and hardly any MKZ. It is as if Lincoln rushed to expunge the name so fast from their web site that they forgot to give it some incentives to get the rest of them off the lots first and now they just sit there.

Give them a few days. I'm sure they will do something since Honda just started offering 0.9% 24-36 month and 3.9% 37-60 month financing on the Ody, Pilot, Element, and Ridgeline in my area.

I kmow production is supposed to start January 2. What I want to know is if it is going through the same quality program the Edge is. That will give me some clue as to whether I can expect it at dealerships in February or in April.

Any word on how the rollout will be compared with the Edge? I've waited nearly a year for the Edge but I am beginning to eye the new Mariner. It would be easier on my pocket book and I am concerned that the Edge is too wide to park easily in the narrow parking spots I have to deal with where I work and live.

There are spy shots floating around of a white "Mercury-ish" Freestyle but I haven't seen any spy shots of an updated 3-bar grille Ford Freestyle yet except for artist renderings. Perhaps Ford gets Fairlane and Freestyle moves to Mercury? Commenting on someone else, I too thought Mini the first time I saw a picture of the Fairlane. I like the idea of a large Mini. In the video they try to frame it as a woody and that just turns me off -- I can't see plastic-wood surfaces making any kind of a come back.

Sounds like you have the MKX confused with the MKZ. Sometimes I make the same mistake.

Excuse my ignorance as well. I work in a small remote office for a large corporation with employees that can get x-plan pricing and not many coworkers that have had experience with it. For some reason I carried around in my head that in order to get x-plan pricing you had to take something that was currently in stock. I'll have to consider ordering one.

Thought I read somewhere that the Job One date for the MKZ is 9/4.
