  1. theres sum motivation for the company to be flexible
  2. 4 , 10's...an 2, 8's is 2800 cars a week at maxium production...with no downtime...we'd have to work 60 weeks in a year to hit 170 000
  3. as much as i hate to say it...with low seniority....keepin 2 shifts and bein laid off all the time is not profitable for them....cant even see how the 4 day week makes sence...as much as i would like to see both shifts goin full time...i would rather see them go to one shift...lose the old school mentality...do a good efficient launch of the town car...be profitable...an secure the long term future of the plant
  4. unless sub fund goes dry...then its scaled down to the point that yer livin off of e.i. i wouldnt consider 300 a week all that good
  5. my 'ex' has a quest...was built in on the villager line...most of the motor has ford stampings all over it
  6. i have a 98 "mazda"/ford b-series 2.5l 4cyl pick-up...ya pop the hood and its all ford...the sheet metal on the box and the grille is the only things different than a ranger...great on gas...has 300K...runs great
  7. where did ford "announce" this? ....and after 16 plant closures are complete...100% shouldn't be hard
  8. so we're off next week and back for 4 weeks?
  9. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/sto...y/Business/home looks like it might be the same thinkin in the great white north
  10. its not the 70's anymore...i think that drastic times are gunna mean drastic measures...if we want to keep our good jobs...i think we are gunna have to brace for some changes
  11. rather work at macdonalds?? wtf?
  12. work?....i vaguely remember that....a shift is on afternoons right?
