  1. Use your CSID and password (the one used to log on to a plant computer). It worked for me. Your milage may vary... Merry Christmas everyone!
  2. K on the Kool-Aid. Use protection when having sex with a potential scab causing agent!
  3. NSS (no shit Shirlock) We will be history soon, not a secret to anyone with a first graders attention span. Get used to the idea. . . COA in NAP? Where did that come from? Must'a been a dream. . .
  4. U must be related to the king of the scabs, either by blood or by his pork sword. Keep drinking the cool-aid. . . Sux to be you. . . Get a life. . .

  10. Craig, A long journey starts with a single step. May you find this journey a smooth and lucrative transition. The conversations and card games will be fond memories for both of us I'm sure. Undoubtedly, you have made the right decision for you and the family. The inevitable was just around the corner and "a bird in the hand is better than two in the bush" mentality will serve you well. Surely we will stay in touch and may you enjoy your new found freedom. Bet it feels good to have that weight off your shoulders huh? :happy feet: Best wishes. . .Be safe. . .Take care and don't look back! :beerchug:
  11. :blah: :blah: :blah: You are a miserable soul aren’t you? Never have anything good to say. Bet your daddy got you the job just to get you the hell outta the house. If you don't like the job or the union, just quit and move back home! By the way genius, it is not on the first page, it is on page 15. You seem to forget, or, just simply do not have a clue, the union does not run the Ford show. Go ahead and start your rant with the foul language you normally use, this will further the opinions folks have of your legendary prowess of the English language. . .
  12. My Brotha. . .Saw 2 does with about 20 minutes of legal time left on opening day. Didn't leave home till about 11am. Used to taking my sweet time lately. My cousin busted this one! Hard to count 'em but there are 10 points. Nice deer. . .
  13. You stand corrected mikem12. . . They will take ALL their seniority with them. We had a hiring wave in 1993-1995, and some more after that. I know a few fellas with 20+ years who say they are on the way. The Union is taking care of seniority, the good book says they take theirs with them.
  14. I did a quick search and blanked. . . Go to the union hall, in the big meeting room, in the back of the room, on the tables, are all the contract books. There are 4 green ones, volumes 1-4. There should also be a white covered local contract book there too. If he is skilled trades, there is a 5th green one. Good luck and have a great Holiday season!
  15. Hey Tony. . . My plan is to stay till they close and take the 35K. This for two reasons, first is to help those who want to transfer by making my services available to free them up. Second one is personal, to be able to say I shut 'em down vs. they laid me off! :happy feet: What is your plan? To all: Have a safe Holiday season and good luck to all no matter what "boat" you are in! :titanic:
  16. Talk about hitting the nail on the head Tony, good post. Below is a link from the local paper today for all to read-FWIW: http://content.hamptonroads.com/story.cfm?...&ran=134283 All those traveling this weekend-have a safe journey! :burnout:
  17. Don't hate the players or the game. . . Hate the contract language. Put the shoe on the other foot. They close your plant and move that product to another plant adding a shift, you would be grateful for the Transfer of an Operation language. Go ahead, flame me. . . I know it sux to be laid off, been there-done that.
  18. She is da bomb! Best one since Tim Walden! Ger 'er done. . .
  19. That is funny...Nice set..I mean rack!
  20. For the record, I am, you could say, one of the old ers not transfering. Knocking on retirements door, and plan to semi-retire when NAP closes! A man has gotta have beer and poker money! Forgive me Mr. Nice Gaius...Where in the hell is Zone #1? What zone is DTP in?
  21. Nope...Nada...In Transfer of an Operation, the transferees carry their seniority,...No 10/29/84 transfer leveling date. By the way...How many years you got? What plant? We had a hiring wave in 1993-1995. Some recent ones too... Did you mean regional/national seniority instead of security? See my post above your second quote. . . Not trying to start a pissing contest here. . . :reading:
