To all you non-believers out there. Do you really think it started with a bang, that your ancestors are apes? Its amazing how people will say they dont believe in God but they are the first to call on him in times of trouble. You need to look around you. Do you think the world around you just happened? Someone designed it to work as well as it does and if im going to believe in one or the other,Ill pick god over the apes any time. It really doesnt matter if you believe in him or not because in the end, hes going to judge you anyway. And for Pioneer, God doesnt need your money. Its all his anyway.

It all sounds so possible but I know how Ford and that union operates and i would put nothing past either one of them. I guess we will just have to wait and see.We might really be suprised.

Has anyone heard about what plans Ford has for the building. As you could guess,roumors are flying, every thing from blackwater using it to build their grizzly armour plated vehicles to Ford opening it back up to build a f100. I know Stanley Wilson went to blackwater to run their grizzly operation so i guess that is possible. The other one was that the union and Ford were just waiting for something and they were going to open it back up. Im not trying to start any roumors but i do keep being ask these questions by alot of people. Thanks

I guess by now that Bill Ford has learned that truck buyers do pay attention to what is going on at ford.Fords truck sales prove that people lost confidence in Ford when Ford shut Norfolk Assembly. Good job Bill!

Does anyone know anything about paperwork we can fill out at norfolk ass. security to be part of some class action suit against Ford? Something about a medical sign off sheet.

Well i guess its time to get out of this forum and on with my life. I just want to wish everyone good luck in the future. I really dont want to bash the idiots in detroit to much but I did see a billboard in Florida last week while on vacation and i think it fits a few people. It says, The diffrence between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits. I believe that billboard is probaly in Detroit and Texas also. I think it speaks of a couple of people in the glass house [ ford] and the whitehouse. Good luck to all my Norfolk friends and everyone else.

Letter to Bill Ford Id like to say I have had a wonderful 13 years at Ford and Im very grateful for that. I know that these are trying times in the auto industries and change has to take place. However, I do believe one enormous mistake has been done with the closing of N.A.P. Norfolk has done so much with so little for so long that she should have been the last to ever shut down. You have not only let the city of Norfolk and the Norfolk employees down, but you have also let Ford Motor Company down. The F150 did not get to where it is today without Norfolk .We made it number one and no matter how hard you or Mark Fields try, you will never get a group of people who can match the quality and production of the Norfolk team. Norfolk could have been spared. It may look good on paper now, but it will come back to haunt you at a later time. Maybe you can explain it to the investor’s later when the F 150 looses its crown. I wish you luck.

The first thing the new owners would do is get rid of Bill Ford and Mark Fields. They would put someone in charge who could actually save the company without screwing up so many lives and running the stock in the ground. Its fords only chance of survival.

Truckerman,get off the crack. Shutting Norfolk down is the beginning of the end for Ford Motor co. No one builds them as good as Norfolk and the only reason they are building them in dearborn is because Bill Ford wants to show off his family name. He will be known as the Ford who took down Ford Motor Co. Maybe you can go with him.

They seem to be freaking out a little here. They are now checking our bags when we come in the gate. Seems they dont want anyone bringing back the junk they stole. NO,thats not it. I think they realize they are doing something really stupid and someone might get mad and do something crazy.
