And where it counts, this weekend up at Odell lake camping i looked around and took note of what brought peoples trailers up.. (its a 7% grade mountain pass up there) 3 dodge HD's 2 chevy 1500's 5 F-150's 7 Super Duty's 1 80's toyota camper no tundras or tacomas or even titans of any time. (Now if people just stopped buying Honda engines for their boats)

It would really suck if american automakers completely ignored the compact pickup and small utilitarian no frills 4x4. I have seen the VW TDI Diesels and they were loud and stinky. It is odd to see a Jetta sounding like a super duty.

What is all this talk of just having it for hauling building supplies? I use mine for towing my boat over the local oregon passes. going to the high lakes and going to work. I would never use it to beat the crap out of. I hate it when i see rangers beaten to shit. Anyway.. There is nothing wrong with the current model. well except the front end. Why is everyone here so high on diesels? they are loud, stinky, you can't work on them, they sound stupid on a non-hd truck and are an absolute bore to drive.

My knowledge of consumer level diesels is whenever i am camping and trying to sleep and all you hear for hours are idiots and their dodges clanking away for hours on end.

I had two rental cars when my '96 Explorer Limited has getting a new fender. (Oregon drivers in ice, not my fault) A 2006 Durango (Looks like a potato bug) and a 2006 Jeep grand Cherokee. My 10-year old explorer is leaps and bounds better. (I'm thankful its back and will soon be up to 100K.) Why is it when you are traveling above 30mph and you roll one of the two back windows down does the ENTIRE CAR Shake like its in an 7.0 Earthquake?. Is this common on all Mopars? My explorer has never done it. (only 4 door vehicle i ever had) Is it a potential hazard?
