I am also from KCAP, I have heard they have already screened tpt er's and they are ready to go when Ford gives the OK. Last monday we recieved 50 people from Visteon... I take it from your posts your from NAP, are you transferring or taking a buyout? If you stay where did they say you could go? Havn't heard of any coming to KCAP, we took alot from St. Louis, and have gotten 50 from Visteon.

We start building 25,000 midbox heavyduty 150 's next week for Scotts Lawn and Garden, NAP down to one shift I hear, we have possible OT coming because of that. Feel bad for those people, don't know what I would do. I am 3'rd generation, I have seen alot growing up in the 70's and 80's. We had some tough times but it is not the end unless you want it to be....

Amen to that, I am 3rd generation, grandfather had 46, Dad 35 and I working on 13. Family all together has 240+ years. I was born in Dearborn, Lived in 4 states, am currently at KCAP, Ford has been good to my family, I also like my job and don't take it for granted. I hear people all the time say the company owes me this and that, go out of there way to get back at Ford for an AWOL, or not getting a day off, c'mon. honest days work for an honest days pay . Were else can you get paid what we do with benefits? Sounds like NAP management really screwed up, just remember they are probably going to be out on the street also.

I have heard a little about this but have gotten more info from you, also I have heard there are several F-150 running around Detroit getting 25 mpg on high way, probably a cylinder cut back at hwy speeds like Chrysler and GM's truck, again Ford hits last again. I work at Kansas City Assembly (I am on the F-150 side) first let me say I am sorry for your Plant to close, I have heard anytime from now until July, we are building the midbox with 25,000 orders to go to Scotts Lawn Care I think starting next week and are now building the standard shift which Norfolk were the only ones building, plus we are getting ready to build the heavy duty F-150 which again was a Norfolk truck.
