Union rep told me 7 to 8 weeks. We are being told 3 weeks along with Christmas vacation at KCAP.

I think early on the "NO" votes were much higher in KC, people had enough time to really think through the pro's and con's, the economy and our futures, many people saw through the "Big management Bonuses", and said it is what it is. Were not ever going to change that, it will always happen in big business. Mullaly was hired for a reason, just ask those Boeing employees. I feel if CAP had more time to think about it the outcome may not have been so drastic.I still feel we should have waited to vote after the grievance was completed, whats the big hurry? What's done is done. Life goes on...

Think of the health and safety issues, I'm sure the insurance company premiums will sky rocket due to all new personel with little or no training, all the costs on screening, let alone the # of people needed. Quality, what quality, there will be none for the unforeseen future, investors will watch anxiously as costs will skyrocket and productivity will be very very low. Look at it this way, your plant is starting to build a brand new product, we all know how slow that goes to get up to speed, multiply that X 50. Just my feel on it...

Who's to say something was leaked out from the company our the union, to get a reaction from the membership wether or not we would bite at it. Who know's. If the numbers are close or the same it would make you wonder, right....

Thanks "louie", I think everyone needs to remember everyone is contributing to the success of Ford right now, not plant against plant. I am glad to see Ford spending money in NA for a change.
