It would be pretty sweet if they gave you the option to put the EcoBoost 3.5 in the MKX. That would help differentiate the MKX and Edge Sport

Is there any way to "give" your X-Plan PIN number to someone else? I ask this because I'm a shareholder in Ford, but my girlfriend wants to buy a 2010 Fusion.

Also, make sure you are aware of the current rebates before going to pick up your car. I ordered a 2008 Escape and when I ordered it, there were no rebates, but by they time it arrived there was a $500 rebate. They told me that there were no rebates available on the Escape when I purchased it. I became furious and told them to check the Ford website if they didn't believe me. They kept trying to tell me that they just printed off the official rebate forms from Ford and there wasn't any rebates available. I told them their deal was off and proceded to walk away. They then went to reprint their "Official" rebate forms from Ford and found the 500 rebate. Idiots.....

I own a 2008 Escape with this feature and at first, I didn't like it at all. It felt more like you were driving a big cloud around. It felt like there was no road resistance and that no matter what you did, it all felt nice and smooth. Maybe it was because I went from driving a Mustang into that, but I hated the feel of the stearing. However, after 1,400 miles, it seems to be losing some of it's "floatiness" and is a lot more precise. You can now feel strain whenever you crank the wheel. I was scared that whenever winter time came rolling around that you wouldn't know if you were losing traction or whether you were fine and the loose stearing was the culprit.

Well, whatever the total August sales are going to be, I helped it out by adding one sale! I bought a 08 Escape at the beginning of the month. I ordered it back in the last week of June and recieved it the first week of August. I felt it came quickly due to them having 2 week plant shutdown for the July 4th holiday. I know they are still churning out quite a bit of Escapes due to I was in KC last weekend and saw 3 transport trucks loaded with Escapes and F150s. And Yes! These SUVs are turning people's heads! During the first week of ownership, I've had two seperate incidents that people have came up and asked me what it was and how I liked it. I even prosuaded a guy to go down to the dealership to check one out! The good part about that guy is he was your typical chevy-guy. He had the balls to roll up to me, get out of his Silverado, and ask me about a FORD! **GASP**

Just checking to see if it's been shipped yet. Hopefully this will be the last time I bug you! :-)

I can back you up as well. I own both a 1994 Mustang and a 2005 Mustang. I can barely fit in the back of the 94 (When sitting back there I have to bend my head to the side or my head wouldnt fit back there) *I'm 6'1 220lbs* However, whenever I'm in the back 2005 I can sit easily and in a comfortable way. I know numbers don't lie and according to the #'s the Foxes are bigger but sitting back there is a whole nother ball game. The 05 wins hands down.

[sarcasm So the Escape sales can't possibly be up because they are selling both 07 + 08 models right?! I've seen five 08 Escapes driving around my small town of 20,000 people, so they can't be that popular right? Also, the 07 models have 3,000 of rebates sitting on their hoods so once again, that couldn't affect people's decisions to buy could it? /sarcasm]
