  1. Oh no! I’m perfectly satisfied with the EcoBoost and the Shelby tune.
  2. I have a ‘19 Shelby Raptor which I purchased new. I drive mostly highway miles and I don’t baby it at all. Most all my highway miles are between 90 and 100 mph regularly. Oil is changed every 10k miles and always use the full synthetic Motorcraft oil. Two weeks ago I was traveling I-70 thru eastern Colorado and lost oil pressure and computer shut everything down. Engine is toast at 110,000 miles. Obviously I’d like to have gotten a lot more miles out of it but I’m very satisfied with the performance and fun I’ve had with this truck.
  3. LineX spray in liners are virtually indestructible. I’ve been using LineX in our commercial fleet for years and have never had a failure or damage to one.
  4. I’ve heard the the 2023 Super Duty will be a major redesigned model. Anyone know or heard anything about this??
  5. Wouldn't happen to have the pricing sheets also??
  6. Complete tracking has been around and available for years. In 2007 I ordered a Shelby GT 500 thru my local dealer and had it drop shipped from Dearborn to Shelby America in Las Vegas. Once the VIN# and build date was issued by Ford, I was able to track the car weekly, including which rail service and rail car it was on. All dealers can do this. Most dealers do not want the public to know this and will not admit that it can be done for obvious reasons.
  7. Where does it display the altitude? What screen or function are you in when it displayed? (probably not the proper tech savey terms) I have a '13 F 150 Limited so would think it has all the latest???
  8. I don't get it either??? The capabilities must be in the system considering it locates your position anyway.
  9. Where is the "WHERE AM I" page?? Can't seem to find it.
  10. THANKS!! Since my plans are to send it to Shelby in Vegas for their package, I don't think the "Special Edition" package would be worth the extra $$.
  11. Any news yet if there will be a 2014 Raptor and if so anything new??
  12. I wish Ford would add an altimeter readout to the NAV system. I can't imagine it being that difficult. If it can show speed limits for where you are, elevation shouldn't be that much more to ask for.
  13. I guess my main point here is Do Not Deal With A Salesman!! I never have. If the dealership wants to sell a car, they will accomodate you if you refuse to deal with a salesman. Or once the deal is cosumated with a salesman, cut him loose and deal with management after that,. ONLY management can answer the questions we come up with for these type of orders. And it doesn't have to be the "management" in the "Tower". These guys are just blowted salesman anyway. Get to the GM or the person who actually orders and tracks the inventory. You would be surprised what a $40 Edible Arangement, or something like that, will get you in the form of free flowing information. My $.02 worth.
  14. You can order any color car or truck you want from Ford. There are only a couple of stipulations; 1 - Order must be a "fleet" order and 2 - minimum order for custon color is 10 units. So, the fleet part is easy to do and then find 9 buyers with your taste in color
  15. When you say you are talking to your "dealer" who are you really talking to? It makes a BIG difference what role your person has at the dealership. Sales staff don't know squat about the ordering process on a vehicle and in many cases the management does not want the sales staff to know much. Their roll is to sale period. To get the wanted information about your order, you must be communicating with management directly and not thru a salesperson. Someone at the dealership is responsible for tracking orders and has or can get what you want and that's who you need to find. Good Luck
  16. I've had a '11 GT 500 now for 2 months. Did a 5500 mile road trip plus another 5500 miles around town. On the road at 75 with cruise controll it got consistantely 25 mpg on 93 octane. Here in Colorado we only have 91 octane and highway is 23 to 24 and city is 15 to 18. Not bad for 550 HP fun driving!!! :happy feet:

  18. The Electronics Package is awesome and well worth the price if you use it. I have it on my '11 GT 500 and love it. I am amaized at what it can do and I learn new functions every day. For thoes who want the Shaker 1000 and Electronics Package system, here is an easy solution http://marblesmotors.com/GT5002011Stereo.htm and it works very well.
  19. The information is out there for the taking. You just have to be persistant in going after it. The dealer has daily information available if they want it or want toget it and give it to you. I just took delivery of an'11 GT 500 (3rd GT 500 order) and I knew each Thursday morning exactly where my order was, as I did with my '07s. However I agree there should be an actual program out there specifically for customer tracking.
  20. Thanks, it's clear now. Guess I was reading but not paying attention to what it was saying!!
  21. Sorry guys, but they are factory installed options. They are in the order guide for the Base V6 and the GT and I've seen them on cars right off the transport. It's just that there is not a Option Code in the GT 500 order guide, yet, it is on the option list in the "Build Your Own" site on FORD.COM with pricing. My dealer can't find the option code for them but aknowledges they are on the option list. ??
  22. Does anyone know the OPTION CODES for the "side scoops" and the "illuminated door sills"? The Order Guide (01/20/10) doesn't show them yet if you go to the Ford web site and "Build & Price" page, it shows thoes options with a price. My dealer can't find them in her Order Guide either.??
