  1. Way to answer the question and keep the thread on track. So, since you got it off on a tangent...I, think that the Lacrosse is not the best looking car in the world (far from it, really)...it has some bad "1996 Taurus light syndrome" going on, but for 2008 it looks better, certainly better than the re-skinned (I'm sorry...new) Focus.
  2. So, what exactly did Ford change (styling wise) because of consumer backlash? It is still horribly ugly. The only thing I can see is the actual shape of the fog lights.
  3. I hope it is not more than $1.25. What has he done to help Ford? Heres whats wrong with Ford Bill Ford has no interest in cars, he's admitted to it. Mulally is not a car guy. There is no Iacocca at Ford today, pressing for product, overseeing marketing, and rallying the troops. Their product shows it, their sales show it, and their dealers know it. Mercury is on life support. Lincoln is wounded. And the best Ford can come up with is changing the name of the Five Hundred to Taurus. And that didn't help the sales slide one bit. Ford has no new product that gets customers excited.
  4. Yes. Like I said...the only Lacrosse I would get is the one with the V8. The Lucerne is a great car, nice interior, great seats, and will get 30 MPG on the highway with the 3800 Series III V6. And you can get tons of options. And because it's American...you can get one DIRT cheap($20K-$25K) if it has 10-25,000 miles on it. Talk about bang for your buck.
  5. Listen short bus...I'm 22. Having said that, I would love a Buick Lucerne (3800 V6 or 4.6 Northstar V8), the Buick Enclave (the best CUV on the market), or the Buick Lacrosse (only the new Buick Lacrosse super, with the 5.3 V8). So I like Buicks and Panthers...whats your point? Would it make you feel better if I said I would kill for a G8 GT? Thats not an old persons car.
  6. Every review I have read sings praises over that engine.
  7. No...it's far from it. Now if you talk about the GM 3.6 with direct injection...
  8. Continue reading here. A very honest, and I think, mostly positive review. Good read.
  9. Wow...what do you expect to get in a Forum titled "Ford Management" with a sub-title that says, "Open letters to Ford Management. And, yes - Ford reads these."?
  10. I was hoping, at the bare minimum, to get a reasonable explanation as to why Ford thinks that 1996 through 2001 does not include 2001 automobiles.
  11. My best guess would be sometime between December 17th 2005 and January 3rd, 2006. On January 3rd, 2006 I posted this: And this: EDIT: I actually just found a Oasis report dated 12/20/05. Thats when I went in to seek reimbursement. The car was built on 04/09/2001 and the warranty start date was 05/03/2001. And under "Extend Coverages", it says "no ESP information available".
  12. Great! In 2010 my car will still look brand new! Seriously though...is that the best you can do? Get a job.
  13. I think everyone on this site took the short bus to school. PEOPLE YOU NEED TO READ...IT IS REALLY NOT THAT HARD, USE YOUR FINGER IF YOU CAN'T KEEP UP!!!!!!!!!! Look at topic "2" It was started on 1/26/06...this is what I posted: As you can see, I tried to seek reimbursement as early as January 26th, 2006, and back when I went to school...January 26th came BEFORE March 16th. And, if you would have read what I typed above, it clearly says that I tried...BEFORE MARCH 16TH...to seek reimbursement: And what did you mean by this?: Why "case closed"? That clearly shows that I tried to seek reimbursement prior to March 16, 2006.
