People are being brought in, but the launch will be pushed back from the letters that were passes out Thursday...looks like we are starting down weeks again and the week of March 30 is tentivaly the first of several this quarter.

Thanks in advance!! I've been TLO'd the last 9 out of 10 weeks and was wondering if a new schedule has been put out yet since the paint/body layoff was cancelled. Day shift was scheduled to go back to work Monday and is that still the plan? Will we work one week, then be off two like the news report stated?

There has been talk for a long time of us getting at least the new 150 diesel because we are already set up for diesel...and the econoline rumor has been around for years.

I don't know about MI, but I transferred here from Indianapolis and the cost of livingi s much higher in KY than Indiana. I buy groceries when I go home and bring them back to KY...property is higher compared to Indiana-much less for your money.

I think we got called because we are on TLO, too...I'm A crew paint and don't go back until 8-4. My senority is in the top 175 of production and I'm staying at KTP. I have the same questions...guess we'll have to listen to Channel 32 news to find out the specifics.

Just received a vm from HR wanting to know if I was interested in transferring LAP in August...my last name is at the top of the alphabet...guess it's true about the layoff at KTP. I've been off and out of the loop.

The only was we were able to bank the 4th was we were on vacation when it fell...normally you have to actually work that day then you can choose to bank it or take the pay.

How close was the Royce/Scott election?

Can someone please post the letter? I'm TLO'd this week in paint and really appreaciate knowing what is going on...it sounds like things are going nuts!!!

Going back to one shift was in the letter Scott put out a couple of weeks ago-all work is going to be done on day shift only and it will alternate between shifts. No schedule is out yet on the weeks are will working.

It's just like the 80's...if and when the lay off does come, call back depends on the economy and market needs...no one can predict what will happen. Hopefully, you folks won't be off for years like we were.....at least you have the new contract to protect your rights where we didn't.

Log on to HPS and click on the third "KTP HR Website"...after entering the KTP labor Relations page-scroll down to the very bottom left hand corner-"KTP Hourly Service Center" and it is the bottom choice. Then you have a choice of departmental or plantwide senority. Hope this helps.

We were told today that when we cut back to one shift line speed in final will be slowed down in order for paint/body to keep up without working OT.
