Ironically, that’s my plan as well, unless I can still justify the real Bronco.Better yet... justify real Bronco for the dads and Sport for the kids!

I thought it was kinda odd to do a unveiling on a Thursday vs a Monday...which seems to be normal day of the week.
I thought that too at first, but the new F150 reveal is also on a Thursday... June 25th at 8:00 PM EST. So maybe it was just an oversight.

Sure hope it's true... would be real nice to have for when the wife makes me sleep on the couch because of something I said, did or didn't do. Put the seat back and turn on the massage with some good music... might have to get in trouble more often!

Another awesome new Mustang! Though IMO it dosen't have much resemblance to a Mach 1. But at least I'm relieved I won't have to trade my '03 now... can't give up that cool scoop and don't want to change my username!

Currently in the buyback process
Sounds like the driveshaft replacement didn't correct the vibration issue... or is buyback due to other issues?

Under the lid of my center console there is a space for what I guess is for facial tissue.
Does anyone know what size box fits in there?
https://www.amazon.com/Kleenex-Junior-Facial-Tissue-Pack/dp/B00LIB6C84
These fit my 09 Expy console lid tissue holder. The boxes are a bit thinner than they used to be so I cut a piece of foam padding to put behind it for a snug fit.

Swaybar disconnect
Yeah, it's just another mall cruiser.
Plus it has Bilstein external reservoir shocks to tackle those gnarly mall lot speedbumps.

This is just a read between the lines observation and I can't say it's fact... but going by what I heard at the dealer they may be limiting software updates for now because they're working on a cumulative update that will fine tune a bunch of things to the 2021 specs. I hope that's the case!

Those are good, thanks! I actually have the running boards in the garage but haven't installed them yet. Only saw them on Reserves so far.

Isn't it suppose to brake hard to stop quick in a short distance while backing like in this video. I back into the garage and mine seems to be speed sensitive. It will slam the brakes if backing too fast toward the doorway, but it lets me back in with no braking when going slow.

Can you post some pics with the running boards?

You (and anyone else with an almost 10 yr old ford hybrid) should read this:
My daughter drives our 2010 Fusion Hybrid and it became unsafe for her to drive due to lack of power and severe hesitation when accelerating from a stop. Plus the gas mileage was terrible. Then I remembered this recomendation that you sent me. Did the procedure yesterday and wow... it performs like it did when new again!!! Thanks to your timely info I no longer have to worry about her getting in trouble at an intersection or interstate on-ramp! The gas mileage is back up too... THANK YOU

I would never have believed I could go 1 month on a tank of gas, let alone two plus. I think the hybrid reviewers have a bad tester. I've taken people on rides to show them the transitions between modes. They are totally blown away.
Now that things are opening back up I'll finally get to experiment with the EV modes. The one time I tried it zapped the battery pretty fast. Is your commute flat or hilly? Nothing flat around here...
I agree that the reviewers must have a bad tester.

Appreciate the feedback. I'm curious to hear from any fellow Aviator GT owners like @mustangchief or @CoolScoop how their experience has been with the PHEV powertrain so far and how it compares against the harsh feedback from all the various automotive reviews.
Between the stay at home orders and then TDY for work I haven't been able to drive mine much yet... or even surf the forum lately. But I've put it thru it's paces a few times and I'll say ditto to to everything you described about yours, including the silky smooth part. Its unique presence demands attention... a real beauty inside and out.

I don't recall hard plastic surrounds on any of the applications that I've used either...

Never had a single issue with K&N Drop In air filters. Put them in every Ford car, truck and suv I've owned plus every atv, dirt bike and street bike. Started that many decades ago, back when K&N ruled. I normally use the K&N sealing grease on the gasket, but I don't think it's really needed in most cases. Never had a problem with stressing an airbox lid. From my life long experiences it doesn't surprise me that Ford chose K&N for the Ranger performance kit... I know why they did it.
Clarification: I'm not running a K&N on our '10 Fusion Hybrid because it has a lifetime air filter that isn't serviceable or even accessible, lol!

I didn't know that with the slate the whole interior is all the same color everywhere,
While medium slate doesn't have different contrasting colors like the black and brown in the roast it does have three shades of gray, so there is more contrast than in the black interior. My wife didn't care for the full two tone look and she also doesn't like browns or tans with black, so that eliminated two interior colors. Most of our vehicles have had black interiors so black was out and we took a gamble on the medium slate... for our tastes it was a home run! Everyone at the dealer loved it and the sales manager said they would be ordering more in medium slate! I pretty much like all four of the interior colors so at least my wife made the decision easy. She also didn't like any of the Black Label themes... I kinda agree with her there except I really like the flight theme.

Did Tesla actually try to pass cheap sleep apnea machines off as ventilators... apparently the only modification was a Tesla decal:

The engine turned trim is also on the full rear consol. Its standard on the GT with medium slate interior and a no cost option on the GT with roast interior. The Black Label flight theme also has it, but in a darker gunmetal tone. The flash/lights make it look brighter in these photos but it doesn't seem to reflect the sun. Its jewel like and looks custom/elegant in person.

Bring back Mercury as their car division. No trucks or suvs... just cars.

CoolScoop did you ever end up posting pics of the slate interior? Curious to see what it looks like...
Does anyone have some tips on taking interior photos with accurate colors? I can't capture the actual shade of gray, the flash makes it look much lighter... most of the medium slate photos I've seen online seem to have the same problem.
Identifying Build Issues on the Lot?

All models start out at CAP, but the painted bodies for hybrid models are sent to a special line a couple blocks away for final assembly. Production of the Aviator Grand Touring PHEVs didn't start until early December. I haven't heard of any issues with the GT builds yet, including mine and a few others on here... so it would probably be a safer choice if you can locate one with your specs. The additional cost for the GT is pretty much offset by the $6,534 tax credit.
