  1. And quess what, that Acura offers a powertrain not available in any Honda! Does Mercury offer anything other than vertical grill slats?
  2. Incorrect. In the USA, no Acura shares powertrains or body panel or interior appointments with a Honda. Mercury on the other hand. Milan is just a Fusion with different headlights. Mariner is just an Escape with vertical grill slots. Sable is just the Taurus with verticle grill slots. Mountaineer is just the Exploded with a slightly revised grill. Grand Marquis is just a 1977 Ford LTD.
  3. Kia, Buick, and Mercury are purchased by the same demographic. . . . . . . . Hertz, Avis, Dollar
  4. That is a disgusting insult. By Mullet Mark Fields own admission, Mercury is just Fords with different color options.
  5. You have some interesting points, but let's look closer. According to safercar.gov, the Sonata is safer than the Volvo S60. And as far as supporting Americans, the Sonata is built in the USA by Americans, the Volvo is imported and built in Belgium.
  6. Volt = 40K I don't see a payback. You can save 25K and buy a Fiesta or Fit. You can buy a lot of gasoline with the 25K savings.
  7. Is that your observation? When you drive up to the hair salon in your Mustank to get your mullet trimmed, you see a lot of Hondas?
  8. The Government can't even figure out dealerships for their newly acquired car companies. How the eff are they going to run healthcare?
  9. Cool, since lots of torque is useful for low speed towing, and the Mustang uses a suspension from a pickup truck, I guess the Mustank is better at towing than the S2000.
  10. No, just for Fires. In April of this year, GM recalled 1.5 million of the 3.8s for oil related engine fire concerns.
  11. I hope Honda never makes a so called sporty coupe with the drive train that is shared with the decades old Ranger pickup. I much prefer to see Honda stick to a proper sports car like the S2000.
  12. I wonder how many Lexus offer 3.8 liter pushrod motors pumping out a whopping 200hp, driven through a high tech 4 speed automatic, and offer big shiny chrome port holes in the front fenders to expel all the excessive heat from such a powerhouse drivetrain.
  13. Both Lutz and GM CEO Fritz Henderson don't believe the commercial positions Buick as a luxury brand that competes with Lexus. Buick DOESN'T compete with Lexus. Buick competes with Toyota and Kia.
  14. I just wish all those family members would kiss, make up, and stop all this drama. Can you imagine the Ford family if each had control over the different brands.
  15. Without a doubt, the Prius is the worst driving car I have driven. BORING, hate the braking and steering, and just not comfortable giving the total lack of suspension tuning, total elimination of steering and braking feel....should at least be comfortable.
  16. Are you saying gay men have too much taste and style to ever be seen driving or riding in a pony car?
  17. Chevy, I'm still waiting. I have read many of your other ignorant rants in a few other threads. Are you really that full of hate?
  18. I'm sure as a "straight" person people don't recognize a commercial being targeted towards "straight" people. Imagine a Ford Expedition commercial. The family is loading the kids, pets, hooking up the boat and headed to the lake for a family vacation. Unless the parents Ford showed in the commercial are the same sex, otherwise that is a targeted commercial at straight couples. Take for instance the very targeted Subaru commercials. Watch the LOGO channel on cable TV. You will see the opposite of the above. For instance a lesbian couple loading up their kayaks and heading to the lake.
  19. Can you clear something up? What is funny about marketing directed at the Gay community?
