I'm sure as a "straight" person people don't recognize a commercial being targeted towards "straight" people. Imagine a Ford Expedition commercial. The family is loading the kids, pets, hooking up the boat and headed to the lake for a family vacation. Unless the parents Ford showed in the commercial are the same sex, otherwise that is a targeted commercial at straight couples. Take for instance the very targeted Subaru commercials. Watch the LOGO channel on cable TV. You will see the opposite of the above. For instance a lesbian couple loading up their kayaks and heading to the lake.
